I agree - I think Desert Skiff is wrong in the guide. Looks like minifigures or something are skewing that. It is definitely not just a $13 set on Ebay. If so, I would be snatching them up. lol. Its lower 20s maybe.

OK. Your calcs are correct.  The issue is that the 9496 desert Skiff has had its price corrected from $13.35 to $13.76. 

 

Jeff has looked at the data for the 9496 set and there have been many genuine NISB sets sold for $11-$13. 

 

For those who have picked 9496 at $13.35 I am going to put it in at $13.76.  This may take you slightly over the $1k limit, which is ok.  Your starting investment will just be fractionally higher.  If you are over by more than $13.76, then I have reduced your qty by 1.
