I am thinking so. This was OOS on Amazon for a long while before this last restock and it has been gone from all other retailers for a while. My gut says it is close to being done.

Very widely available in Europe right now and often with a good discount.  Seems like EOL is in the US first for this one?  So far every "Hard to find" set has been extremely easy to find.

its done. I posted about this in the what I heard thread.

You said it with such authority, it's hard not to believe you. All kidding aside, I give you credit for being decisive.

Easy to find here too. I currently have 7 but looking to finish at 10 before moving on to the next set.

Haha ... I'm still working on getting my first one ... I'll probably order it later on today!!

haha. Detecting tone on texts and on a message board is always fun. I just trust my source that's all.

If it was nearing the end, Amazon EU would have put the prices up by now.

I got all of mine through Myer. 5 when I was able to stack discounts and 2 more with Myer One coupon, discount and cash.

I only have 1 and would like to keeping adding. Can' t stand paying retail + tax. Unavailable at Target. Going to wait for double points @S&****

I didn't mean for my last post to be abrupt as I want this gone as much as anyone.  Since it's based on a UK plane and it's the WW1 centenary, we could have this baby around for a very long time yet especially with no licence to expire or renew.

As far as I know in the US these are only available at LEGO Shop at Home and Amazon at the moment. They may be in some LEGO stores yet but the one I checked hasn't had them for a while now. Other retailers used to carry them but they are no longer available at those places.

The one lego store I go too often the last time they had it in stock was the vip release of the Simpsons house. They had one and I purchased it.

Live in HK and just pick up 2 x 10226 for around HDK600 which is around USD76..

That's a great deal as HK is normally expensive. I lived there from '94 to '98.

I don't think so...

Just called for a stock update at my local store.

They said they have plenty in-stock!

My local lego store did not have any last month and they certainly had restock recently. Plenty on shelf last Saturday when I was there.

Still thinking this stays around until the end of this year.

2014 is the centenary year of WW1 where this aircraft reigned, this thing is going nowhere!
