10226 - Sopwith Camel

ATTENTION COLLECTORS AND INVESTORS:

On June 1, 2012, LEGO will be releasing a new version of the SOPWITH CAMEL. The older version, set 3451, did extremely well in the secondary market, increasing almost 200% from MSRP. This set looks much more complicated and accurate. Watch the LEGO 'DESIGN' video. Nice detail. A must have for any investor or collector, so save your pennies for June 1st!

I'm very confident of the SC's growth in the UK but, we just have to wait for the initial post-EOL impatience to subside.

Let me guess, you'll have to use parts of the cardboard box to build the model?

yes because one wheel cap is missing and the doors are all different colours. It would be a bit like the mixel tribes - you need to buy three to make a full one.

If they allowed global shipping they would sell out in one click! Kinda glad I only have 2 of these, the way things are.

Out of T1, SC and HE I am now betting on the last one to be the winner.

Truck loads of SC here in Australia and below retail price. Might take a while before we see a steady rise.

I just bought 4 and shipped to hk minus tax.. its around usd100 each..

Good deal ?

Looks like Amazon listened to my advice!
