Puzzling but why limit if they're allowing multiple orders?

Even if there's a workaround, putting a limited tag will still put the brakes on sales. Not as hard as if it was strictly enforced, but I imagine they just want to slow down sales, not cripple them entirely.

And it is now gone again!  I was able to get one, maybe we will see they find a couple of more over the next couple of days!

I called to see if there were any left, and the customer rep said that there was one left. Although she later said that there might be a couple of them.

I just received my sopwith camel from Lego shop at home. Bought this when it came back alive a few days ago. There are two seals on one side that have been resealed with the Lego seals. Should I trust it to be complete because it is from Lego? Or could this be a returned item (maybe missing parts, maybe opened bags?) and Lego didn't check? Has anyone else encountered this before?  :frantics:  :frantics:  :frantics:

since it was mailed from lego, you should be safe.  i wouldn't worry about it.  even if it was opened, it was resealed after all bags were checked.

Thanks for replying, now I can sleep easier at night

A fussy buyer would still try it on and complain, make sure it's mentioned clearly in any listing.  I for one, would expect to pay a lot less for a resealed box whether it was done by Lego or not.  I'd not trust it one bit to be honest as there's a reason for it being opened in the first place (pissed off Lego employee stealing parts?) and it's just not worth the hassle down the road.  If that was me, I'd return it in a heartbeat saying "How can I possibly resell this on eBay at a 100% profit next year if the box is resealed?"  Seriously... just say you are suspicious of it's contents as it's a special present.

Amazon.ca currently has 4 available at retail price for anyone interested. Passed on this set myself.

I grabbed two of the four. I'm waffling on ordering the other two.  If they are still there after lunch, I'll nab them, so a fellow Canadian has a chance for the last two...

Plenty in stock at Amazon France/Spain/Italy.

And lots of them are taking heavy dust on shelves in B&M stores. What a shame.

Amazon.ca has 11 when i checked?

Does appear they have more at the moment. Since there are enough to go around, no guilt about getting a couple more.

amazon.ca had 15 just now... didn't order, have 6 so far as I also got lots of vw's and HH's already this month!

eBay has them brand new for $160USD and higher. This is already money in the bag even at $150CAD. I bought two more and shipped it to one of our offices in Canada.
