Anyone else disappointed in this one??? growth has been anemic

  • Is there a retired super hero set not reaching double retail price, or heading to the direction? wouldn't batwing be another winner?

  •   Yep, it's bundling time!

Why not? Based on prior data, the Batman sets are sure to do well after EOL. I think there are better sets available, but this set is the cheapest way to own the Joker and Black suited Batman. Plus 2 vehicles and a Joker's goon. Buy now or have regret later.

It is an awesome set, worth putting a few aside.

Agreed! While it's not the best Batman set, it's still worth grabbing a few of them in my opinion.

The sale must have already passed cause that is all I see as well. Ah well.

ok thanks lol i thought i was missing something cause i would've jumped on that at 19 percent off.

Is this a gonner already? Target.com has it at retail and TRU.com has it for $45. My local stores (Target, Walmart and TUR) have absolutely none of it. Currently I don't have any in my stash and certainly don't want to see the train leaving without getting onboard.

Solid set for sure. Honestly I didn`t pay any attention to it whilst it was available. I started investing just under a year ago and by the time I noticed/starting paying attention to it, it was pretty much gone. Don`t think it``s going to be a huge winner, but it will still be a winner in its` own right. You get the Batwing (obviously), the pretty sweet looking chopper, Batman, the Joker, everyone`s favourite anarchist, and a henchmen. Looking great, and excellent pieces/figures/initial price point. At retail, I`d buy a couple right now, no questions asked.

A local store has a few 6863 available at regular price.  I know the set is discounted BUT sold out at Shop At Home.  Good buy or wait it out for better opportunities???

If you don`t have any/very few, I`d suggesting picking them up. Haven`t looked recently myself, but you may be able to PM with somewhere online to get a bit of a discount on the price, though not sure anyplace still has them available. It`s a solid set, and at this point, if you must pay retail, I`d buy at least a couple.

I think you can get it at Target.com for retail ($35) so it's still available, but it could be gone at any time.  Who knows how many TRU has, but they are rarely below or even near MSRP.  They were $25 prior to Christmas at TRU so I think a lot of people stocked up at a discount.  If you still need one for your collection it's a good idea but I wouldn't load up at this price just yet.
