January 18, 201412 yr I remember a user from Mexico saying something like that, can anyone confirm this? Thank you.
January 18, 201412 yr If you go further south it's widely available in Bolivia and Peru. Possibly a few at the Paraguay TRU too.
January 18, 201412 yr Author If you go further south it's widely available in Bolivia and Peru. Possibly a few at the Paraguay TRU too. A friend of mine will be travelling across South America for 3 weeks, just wondering if the possibility of picking up a few is real or not. Thanks for the heads-up!

January 19, 201412 yr No way, there's no Lego stores here (which is weird because there's 2 Lego factories), so a lot of the big exclusive sets don't see the light here.
January 19, 201412 yr That would be difficult as I have not found one in the past 4 months that I have been looking for one, but..... I found a NISB Corner Caf

January 19, 201412 yr I remember a guy that bought one of the old modulars from mercadolibre Mexico, but aside from that, slim to none chances of finding an exclusive over there.
January 19, 201412 yr If somebody found a valuable post-EOL set at RRP, they'll keep their mouth shut.
January 19, 201412 yr Prob have a better chance finding vintage Kenner / Lili Ledy Star Wars mint of card figures at retail price. Good luck though. You never know what you'll find in Mexico except when drinking unfiltered water.
January 20, 201412 yr quite possible that a run down toy shop in some third world country is not aware of the aftermarket for such toys, but i wouldnt risk a trip to mexico with large amounts of cash looking to buy toys and come back across the border, thats just me tho...
