  •   It's been erased from the Jedi Archives.

  • From the TRU main page, click on "Weekly Ad", then on "Flip Through Local Ads" on the next page, then click on the ad that says "1 Day Only!".  Sorry - I don't know how to post a link.  I'm an unfroze

Agreed.   Either way the set has some nice figures but unless you are getting them in the $40 range I don't see the worth for investment.

And don't forget that it coincides with the TRU credit card 8 points (4 points without card) per dollar on Wednesdays promotion. That means that for $60 you can get a $10 gift card (with coupon) and $4.80 in points. Seems like a good deal to me. If I am by a TRU, I will stop in and get 1, but I probably won't go too far out of my way.

It's a kids playset with a tiny excuse for a spaceship to go with it where the only redeeming feature is the minifigures.

Never?

I like the playsets honestly - they do it for me. Its weird, but a lot of others don't at all. I don't play with them (much) but I really like how you can display them in different ways.

Do agree the ship is not great.

I do in fact want every Star Wars set ever made. I can't not like them for some reason. I built the Sith Nightspeeder the other day. Its awful - but it looks kinda cool. Of course I will be smart about what I pay for these sets, but I want them all.

People like me are probably the reason TLG pumps out 40 Star Wars sets a year. Although I feel like most of the ones the year have been high quality.

Im gonna grab one at least to build since i never saw a Star Wars set I didn't want.

I really don't know why people don't like the set. Solid playset and awesome figures.

It reminds many people of the Home One Mon Calamari 7754 set, but I disagree strongly - it will be a winner.

That's a decent discount off retail and I wouldn't hesitate picking them up.  Great minifigs like others have said and that's where the value lies.  Seems like a lot of them  have been flipped lately for $100 or more on Ebay, so that's evidence of decent demand.

I just noticed that the 9526 is no longer available at LEGO Shop at Home and also noticed that on Ebay the set has been steadily increasing lately? Is this set EOL and would now be a good time to buy a few? Thank you for sharing your opinion

I'm going to every TRU in the country to buy them out so someone will post that they didn't get one on the complaint thread.

I knew it was your fault!

I think I'll pick up one tomorrow, why not? The set is def worth $60 to build and enjoy, and probably worth $60 used after eol. So it'll be three trips to TRU in 3 days. Because now I also have to go up there later tonight to set traps for Anakin...

Actually, I bought two from two separate purchases using the spend $50 and receive a $10 gift card, so I'll take $20 in gift cards thank you very much! Now that I look at it, looks like the set is climbing up in price??? The set actually is decent!

I got two aswell.  I can see why people dont like it because its not that impressive.  I do think it will do well though because of the great minifigs.

I had planned to pick one up today, but instead I got another Helms Deep for $105.

My opinion on 9526 is that it's a dinky set with 5 minifigs you can find in several other sets plus an exclusive palpatine. But I don't think you'll lose money if you buy at $60, and that's the price it should've been in the first place, anyway.

I couldn't help myself and bought 8 of them and some 3185's while I was there. This set will be a winner and I really like the fact that the set is no longer available at LEGO Shop at Home
