I wonder the same thing. Obviously the affordability of the sets and the cartoon increased their popularity....but did series 1's short availability catch people off guard and that's why series 1 has high value or will series 2 value continue the trend.....?

Yes, on EBay w/ free shipping. I have another set waiting in the wings, but I'm going wait a until late next week to list them, since I'll be out of town for the weekend.  I'll be in the sticks at some out of the way Wal-Marts and KMarts, so hopefully I can get a few more sets.
