March 30, 2018. This is a date that will forever be remembered. I can get a little emotional at times. As an adult, there are a few instances when I've shed a tear. I cried when my son was born. I cri

Today I tried something different and set up a Lego booth at a local indoor flea market that is held three times per year. I advertised on local Facebook buy/sell groups for about a month leading up t

This set has gone up significantly in a few months, it might be time to sell one or two more.

I am pretty sure it will do even better come Christmas. I just did not care much, since I had only one set, and need the cash flow going

12 x 40034 Christmas Train for $6.95 each.

I think I have about that many that I got for 50% off last year.  I'm going to list them in November.

Well I sold a Tumbler 76023, but the buyer opened a case stating that it was destroyed because I didn't pack it well. i thought I did a pretty good job, but evidently not. Now they are sending it back.

Guess Ill have to build it now.

I wonder if minifigs would be still there, or they fell through cracks in bad packaging?

I sure hope not for DNIM.  That is a terribly devious possibility.

This is what happens when lego uses a box that is 3 times bigger than it needs to be. A box with tons of empty space is susceptible to being crushed even if you pack it well. Sucks man but at least now you get to build it.....wait aren't you a parter outer?

That sounds more like a handling problem with the postal service than your packing style or maybe what Stephen just mentioned about the Lego set box itself being larger than need be for the contents inside it otherwise the buyer is possibly pulling your chain. Sorry to hear about this in any case and hopefully nothing is missing when returned.

Can you make an insurance claim?

It blows but does happen and most likely a scam and they've removed the bits they want, but at least if your operating as a business it's a tax right off.
