I bought around 100 London Buses last year for £5 each, nice little earner.

In the UK, it'll have to be 13-17DEC so it spans a weekend and the last postal day for 2nd class is 18DEC. It's quite profitable to prey on the desperation of those that leave it to the last minute. Personally I prefer the "normal" time of year away from "Silly Season" , QFLLs and £1 FVF promos.

Sold a wack of stuff over November, moved all my Scooby at a 85-100% RoI which was nice.

Just shifted another 20 of those 60124 Volcano sets (£28 each from Tesco with points and QCB) for £60 each cash. I'll hold the remainder for when supply dries up a bit more. I took a punt ordering 99x of those, but I'm sure glad I did!

I'm torn on the Sea Cow sale.  If there was one set I always wanted to rip open and build, it was that one.  Now I don't have any more.

 

For sets like that, especially poor performers, it’s often worth checking used sale prices. For a little more loss you can gain the build, for epic sets like Sea Cow that’s often worth it for many of us!

Sea cow is an awesome set. My son and I built it and had a blast. I bought mine damaged box though.

There is a strategy more and more Amazon sellers are employing this year. Wait until December, drop huge quantities of items, undercut by 10-15%

That being said i went through 40 75878 Bugatti Chiron's at 49.99 which i picked up for 17$ each this October. It is now down to 43.50 for an inexplicable reason^^. I'll wait to restock.
