What Lego set did you sell today and for how much?

Since we have the buying thread, I thought we could have a selling thread too. Let guys, and girls, let others know sets they have moved, maybe returns that they realized and the timeframe it took to get there. If this is lame, well, I guess it will fall to the depths of the forum, here goes. Sold a sealed 7199 IJ Temple of Doom for $200, purchased for $115 6 months ago I have others, but this is just to give you an idea.

Local carboot 60080 Spaceport £35 (buy in £11), 41106 Tour Bus £25 (£8)

Facebook is good, I shifted a lot of smaller sets and excess bike stock over Easter. eBay's days are numbered.

I'd have held on to those Spaceports for another year if I were you as it's only just retired and the £11.33 Tesco QFLLs still have stock. The Tour Bus is a turkey (like 99% of Friends sets) that will never reach RRP so best to get rid asap... I sold all mine a week after purchase for £18 each.

You got a good price for R2-D2 as that's now falling in value too.

I agree. Business sellers (who they should be) don't get £1 FVF offers or free listings. This is one reason why I closed my 9,229 100% feedback business account. The recent increase in fees with NO OFFERS whatsoever was the last straw. These days, I sell easily with no fees at all.

1x 40221 Fountain for €15 cash

1x 40252 Mini VW Beatle for €20 cash

Recent FBA sales:

3x 41058 HeartLake Shopping Mall - $163 (Buy-in $57 after tax). Unfortunately got one returned with return reason "Shipping Address Undeliverable" - that's $14 down the drain in return fees, so I guess I'll have to raise my price on that one.

5x 70753 Ninjago Lava Falls - $24 (Buy-in $6 after tax)

2x 75893 Scooby Doo Haunted Lighthouse - $83 (to the same buyer, Buy-in $22 after tax)

2x 41038 Jungle Rescue Base - $79 (Buy-in $32 after tax)

and the kicker, the set I mentioned in my blog article as "my mistake" as I bought it for 60% off at Target 1.5 years ago and it just wouldn't retire:

1x 31033 Vehicle Transport - $38 (Buy-in $11 after tax)

Sleeping Beauty royal bedroom.
My last one. Almost paid retail for it when I found it 6 months ago at a BAM.
Sold for $29.99 on BL.
Mine was the last one. I repeat, there are no more of these on sale at BL.

That was a good seller. Wish I had scored 50 of those from last year's B&N sale.

I've seen my future, and it's in hands.

AT-AT 75054 $260

Bought it on black friday years back for $60 or so. Very happy with the profit.

You know your prices are too low when two different sellers on BL, with in 24 hours, contact you requesting a drop shipment. Either I'm doing something really right, or really wrong.

Ebay 30040 Atlantis Octopus for $10 shipped. I found this poly in a bulk lot.

Scooby doo poly bag from DVD - $12.90 shipped

Cost $7, kept DVD and used the $5 Batman movie coupon

Master Wus Dragon.
$30 on BL
And some Ninjago polys

Just unloaded several 30522 Batman Phantom Zone polybags on eBay for $6 apiece. Buy-in was about $1.19 during Target's Valentine's Day clearance.  I got only one left of these! WOOHOO! FREE SPACE!

Cause those damn polybags take up so much room default_smile.gif

Sold 3 minifig guitars for $5.49 on eBay. Question: should I risk shipping in a standard envelope with a postage stamp or pay $2.61 to ship in a bubble mailer?

I was once shipped a minifigure in a paper envelope. I only received an empty envelope with a torn corner.

As much as I dislike the extra cost, I always do the minimum of bubble mailers (@2.61 or greater). :(
