What Lego set did you sell today and for how much?

Sold my last Iron Patriot on BL yesterday for $30. It had been sitting there for several months and only a few weeks ago I created an EBay listing for the same polybag and settled for a $25 rate w/ free shipping just to be competitive. Glad that one didn't sell :)

Had a bunch of the old Ninja theme listed recently. Was negotiating Best Offer prices over the weekend and settled on a deal yesterday.

3053 Emperor's Stronghold

6093 Flying Ninja Fortress

6089 Stone Tower Bridge

6088 Robber's Retreat

6088 Robber's Retreat - Missing baseplate

Settled at $420 shipped. After fees and buy ins, I took home $199.70 profit.

Then today sold a 4705 Snape's Class missing instructions. $60 shipped, similar profit margin to the above. It's been a surprisingly good July for me. Sure glad I didn't pull all my listings with the strike notice at the start of the month!

Sold a 75913 - Ferrari Truck for £70 on ebay, buy in was £30 about 2 months ago from Smyths.

Nice. So what is that after fees - £60? Was it BIN or bids?

Yeah about 100% profit after fees and postage.  Did it BIN, strange really as most places have them back up for £80 but Amazon is £67 . . . Maybe they had a Ebay voucher or something, either way I'm not complaining.

Had a pretty good weekend, for me. Probably best since I started a couple months ago. Sold a used Atlantis Neptune Carrier for $25 on BL, a new Batboat for $25 on BL (threw a couple of my WM clearance items up to see if I could get a little cash flow), and a new, opened Tumbler with a beat up box that I picked up a couple weeks ago for $300 ($175 buy-in).

Sold the vehicle pieces to  a 75103 First Order Transporter for $40(without the minifigs, they alone go for that much). Also, 9 loose Disney Minifigures in a lot for $30. These were my duplicates, and was just looking for enough money to buy the few I still need to complete my first set.

sold a Aayla head gear for $29.99 from this lot (seller wanted  $100, I bought it for $40, mostly nothing but had about 15 SW minifigures)

thanks for the post, about to list most of those old Ninja sets, I have boxes and instructions, I would have listed too low

Yup, sold 4 of them for $20-$30.

You gotta hold those buses. They'll be selling for $50 plus come x mas

sold a Titan + mech + crawler GS combo on ebay for $199 shipped that had beed listed forever. make around $30- $40 after fees, just happy to be done with GS. buyer will get some pretty sweet sets and like 2k bricks for a good price. the Theme should have done better but TRU killed it for us.

undercutting all you burning through series 16 at 5.99-7.99 a pop, sold a complete set for $99 plus shipping as well

Talking about dancingsanta_e0.gif, Gingerbread house is waking up. Sold one for $42 to a drop-shipper.

PS: Don't think the bus will hit $50, given that it's only a tiny set compared to GBH which barely managed $50 last year on Ebay, and that was with a lot of hype. You can prove me wrong of course in 5 months from now ....

I gave the guy a 20% discount off my listing prices to arrive at that final number too. Keep that in mind. If you're keen to sell em quick, price around what I sold at. If you're happy to wait and aren't intent on selling as a lot (which I had sort of hoped for, panned out nicely) you could list higher still.

Not particularly topic relevant, but that's one thing Lepin hasn't knocked off yet, is the generic themed sets from 15-20 years ago. If you have some, it might actually hold it's value over the next couple years, unlike some of those older modulars and UCS which are certain to take some sort of price hit due to the knock offs.

gBH would fluctuate  $20 every hour on amazon, was over $70 often

Yes Amazon, but EBay never reached that high. I sold at ~$40 without shipping and $55 with shipping at the peak of the hype on EBay last x-mas. I'm not convinced it's going to get there again, but keeping one just to see :)

Yea they were all 90-95% complete, but I found most of the missing pieces and now almost all 100% with boxes. debating to rebuild for new pictures or add disclaimers

Mine were all thoroughly checked to be 100% including figures and accessories. Also maybe worth noting that my prices were in CAD. So perhaps your target prices were right in line with my own. The way it worked out for me, I took home in profit what the Brickfolio suggested the going rates were (which obviously dont factor in fees and shipping etc).

Personally I spend the time to build and photograph. Certainly helps I think. I also take a nice macro of the figs and accessories.

Is that £43 each for Ant-Man or the pair?
