If I still had it that would be sold lol. I guess bricklink was the wrong platform to sell that one.

no offense but based on the 9449-1 most of them sold at that range back in nov/dec. and $84,00. so what this means is either you listed your item after they were sold at those prices or those buyers were very far from where you are or your shipping terms are not listed or are just so egregious that people just avoid you.

there is a price lag in other platform vs amazon based on number of eye-balls. that's for certain.

even after buying so much at bricklink one thing that scares the hell out are stores that don't have shipping charts or quotes enabled. some of these store's shipping costs are simply out of roof.

If you look under sold listings I was the $60 in feb, they started selling more ($75ish) afterward, I marked this one down from $80.00 in December to clear space for new inventory. Another factor was that the box was damaged and was stated in item description, which probably affected the time it took to sell.

BTW my shipping terms are clearly stated and I charge USPS rates :P

I shop at your TRU.  No, you didn't.  Because I would have bought it and laughed at you.

Just for that I'm gonna go buy it, post a pic of it, and laugh in YOUR face lol.

I just sold (10) Chicken Suit Guy Minifigure 5004468

in the last 24hrs for 14.00 each, I have 10 left, pondering to hold them or sell them off now.

I feel that these are quick flips, not sure about holding for long term, but might hold a few just encase...

Did you sell on eBay, Amazon, or craigslist? I feel like the former two wouldn't really net you much after fees and shipping.

we are really spoilt ;)

even amazon 140 after fees 119 (-shipping $4,00 @most) $115-(65,89) = $49,11 (74% ROI in a week that's 10k AROI) .. that's not much? assuming that 10 was a single transaction. { that's the impression i got from the post }

even if its individual listing 14=> 11,90 =-2.80=> 9,1 =-6.60=> $2,50 (38% ROI .. that's pretty healthy no? ) :D

I sold on eBay, yes in one lot, so that helps with the shipping expense so was: -10ebay, -4.36pp and I have to ship out, so profit should be about 50.00

I thought that was fair for a quick flip, and assuming I have more if I can duplicate I will take $50 chunks of profit. use that to buy Lego I actually want :beerhat:

Ah, I see. That makes more sense and would be worth it. Your original post didn't mention that so I thought it was 10 separate transactions.

yea I see my bad, I just am not sure if I want to quick flip them all (they are new & have hype now so seems to be the time) or sit on some and hope for value long term, I have been watching eBay the past 24hrs and they have been selling like hotcakes, I will agree with your first initial thought, that I can not sell individual due to the shipping costs. so bulk lots are the way to go, by all means I don't want to get stuck with piles of chicken men figures long term, it was cool to get the police atv for free at TRU gave that to my boy.  I think buy now & sell fast, was just curious of others opinions.
