March 30, 2018. This is a date that will forever be remembered. I can get a little emotional at times. As an adult, there are a few instances when I've shed a tear. I cried when my son was born. I cri

4 x 10240 on ebay for $212 + shipping each (and I'm not afraid to admit it) B)

Most were bought with some discount or promo attached, so cost was reduced.  And another bonus: 1 buyer bought 3... all shipping together for $12.  I will say it makes me nervous to sell these when LEGO Shop at Home is "Sold Out", but I had more of these than I wanted. And the eBay refund-your-fees promo made it convenient to cash out. They sold fast tho... wish I woulda asked for $5 or $10 more.

No shame in making a gut call.  I've held onto some AAs that haven't appreciated.  Part of this game is knowing when to sell...and that includes retired sets and those on the brink of retirement or perpetual EOL (Pet Shop, T1 and TB...I'm looking at you!)

I'm holding onto my Red Fives for now.  I'm anxious to see how this does in a couple months when EP7 fever is widespread and everyone is itching to use up those holiday gift cards and cash during the long stretch of cold, winter months.

No that was through Amazon.   My ebay sales are a different beast

Sold all of my deloreans on Amazon for 144 each. Had 6. Definitely the best appreciation on a set of my brick folio, so that's why it had to go.

Like everyone else- wish I had bought more, but hindsight is always 20/20.

Only caveat is the stupid high shipping prices on Amazon. Why can't they give a discount like eBay does?

Sold yet another JW Indominus for $180 through CL, buy in was RRP with free GBH :)

Stop by BAM today and picked up their last 75038 Jedi Interceptor. Used a $5 off coupon and a "free" $10 gift card (I got when I renewed my membership yesterday), so I paid $11.13.  Put it on Amazon and sold it for $52.98 shipped. Put $34 back in my pocket = 200% profit.

place holder just sold - microfighter x-wing for $29.99 on ebay - paid $5 from clearance walmart stash. amazon buyer must have gotten lost or something.   shipping in a 6x6x6 box is very first class at 7 oz - :girldance:

star wars fever is heating up...  soon parents be meleeing over my clearance junk like this video.. i know... i know... it _Never_ gets old when it goes Benny Hill at 3:25.

I blew out a complete set of microfighters series one the other day for 109 plus shipping.  I bought 4 of the 6 on clearance, and paid 8.00 for the other two.  Complete win in my book.  3 more complete sets to blow out.  I figure i'll tier them as the prices rise.  I see these topping out around 150ish.

Either way, Star Wars is hot right now.

Sold a droid gunship for 72 plus shipping credit.  Paid mid 20's for it.  Have a few more of these to go too and more than doubled my money on that one.

While at work today I sold another LR Choo Choo for $115 shipped.

Two  Polybags, 30106 Emma's Ice Cream Stand 30108 Mia's Summer Picnic for $12 shipped.

And a 7929 Battle of Naboo for $49 shipped.

It must be mixel season. Series 2 for $73 just to get one sold when I had a bunch of other items to ship and now 3 sets at $80 each. Nice to see that the $65 people are out so the price can recover.

i got out @ higher 80's in AMZ. there are at the very least two sellers with asian supply. so prices are going to dampen and never go above 90's with them having don't know how many sheds of mixels.

Wall-e for $100 CDN on Craigslist. Cost $65 last month plus got me a free bricktober set as part of a larger purchase..

My last 70503 Ninjago Golden Dragon for 110 euro excl. shipping. Boohoo!

I said sell the junk to buy the treasure, not sell the treasure ;)

Cargo Truck, The Mine, Cement Mixer and Museum Break in - $210 on Craigslist  (half way to a death star and $120 in Lego points so 80% to a death star)  and a Target minifigure cube for 20 so 85% of the way to a death star

Sold a bunch of keychains for 4 and 5€ (buy-in was ~2.60€)

2 Ant-Man sets for 30€ (buy-in was 18 for one and 16 for another)

Darth Vader Building Kit for 30€, Imperial Troop Transport and Shadow Troopers for 16€ each (buy-in was half RRP)
