December 4, 201510 yr A good day of Amazon sales for me - prices include shipping (FBM): (2 x ) 75919 I-R @ $207 70173 U.A. Ocean HQ $149 75048 The Phantom $40
December 4, 201510 yr ditto, on the first two, however at about $10 more each. you might wanna inch up your prices, they will bite. Edited December 4, 201510 yr by jerryherb
December 4, 201510 yr Sold a dinged up NIB 21010 Robie House for $390 shipped on EBay. Ebay fee was the $10 promo.
December 4, 201510 yr Corporate Alliance Tank Droid and Endor Battle Pack to one guy for $60 CDN on craigslist. The tank was priced at 3 times what I paid for it and it sold for exactly the reason I figured this would be a winner - dude said he was getting it for his little brother who really wanted a Jango figure while having 5 Boba Fetts. Attack of the Clones indeed.
December 4, 201510 yr Finally got rid of my 9398 Crawler for 211€ excl. shipping. One of the more disappointing investments. 6 months of blocked funds (and attic :/) for meager 25€ profit after fees...

December 4, 201510 yr French ebay. So smallest fees there are for ebay (7.5% I think), but you sell your item with one free photo

I fail to see the problem when you made a 15% profit in 6 months and it wasn't a small time item.
December 4, 201510 yr Well the problem is that it wasn't a small time item. If it was Witch King Battle, 15% would be quite ok, here I was kinda hoping for something more substantial for such a cool set...

One of the more disappointing investments. 6 months of blocked funds (and attic :/) for meager 25€ profit after fees... Oh my god... you had to keep that set for 6 months... that is half a year! And it wasted space...hmm. Are you sure you already learned enough about selling technic? What did you expect? Tripling price after a year? Wait for, let's say at least 2 years after the EOL of technic sets. It works well for me! Hoping for big gains half a year later, hmm, perhaps the wrong line for you...
December 4, 201510 yr Yes, now I believe I learned something about the selling potential the Technic might have. The dwindling one I thought this one would hitchhike on 41999 ride as the crawler for the masses. Wrong call. Now, don't get me wrong guys, I realize it's not that bad and no, I didn't expect 300% ROI, but a zero less would be sort of nice. If it was consistently selling for 240€ in this time of year, I'd probably keep it and not sell at all. It's just the simple fact that when investment is not performing to your standards & expectations (provided they are realistic ofc), get out ASAP, your money is better spent elsewhere. Gingerbread Houses for example Takes way less space along the way

Let this be a lesson for future Technic investments.
