What Lego set did you sell today and for how much?

Since we have the buying thread, I thought we could have a selling thread too. Let guys, and girls, let others know sets they have moved, maybe returns that they realized and the timeframe it took to get there. If this is lame, well, I guess it will fall to the depths of the forum, here goes. Sold a sealed 7199 IJ Temple of Doom for $200, purchased for $115 6 months ago I have others, but this is just to give you an idea.

I just sold a bunch of minifigs: 6.12% PayPal fees...

Strange... so the fees must have gone up then? I never paid so much before.

may want to move this but it looks like they have changed to 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction.  Wasnt it just a flat 3% before?

my guess is the break from ebay means we now pay normal merchant fees rather than ebay fees?

5639 Duplo Family House for 150 euro excl. shipping.

p.s. Does anyone know what happened to the paypal fees? I had to pay 5.43% of fees!

i'm paying 3.9%+0.20

FW-21005 for $155 after fee and shipping

Regarding the paypal fee: Definitely looks like a foreign transaction fee. Buyer from Switzerland maybe? I've had that a few times before and didn't realise until I saw the paypal fees cos the shipping adress is in Germany. Reason behind that is that many people in Switzerland use a German dropbox (it's more drop-shops in this case) to avoid import taxes.

Lately I feel like eBay needs to add a radio button for reasons to: "End My Listing Early":

Pirate Ship Ambush 79008 for $95 after fees and shipping.  Average buy-in was $60-65 so not a bad return in ~12 months.

saw that post earlier at work.  How does anyone think writing an email will accomplish anything when in the email they admit to "have been drinking".  ohh life can be funny

Did you stare at them first?

Proof they do sell at more than $10. I usually price my bulk stuff to move, listing was up less than 3 days.

Ghost Train - $115 shipped.

There's a little bit of craziness around this set right now on Amazon.

60059 - City: Logging Truck - $55

Yeah... noticed those prices lately. What's up with the truck?

Isn't it unique? Also a nice combination with 60021?

It's cool and a low number of sellers.  It seemed to disappear rather quickly.

Heartlake Private Jet for 45.99 and a Raptor Escape for 74.99.

Too early on the RE? Save the next one for Christmas?  I can bundle with G Trap, TRex Tracker, and raptor rampage.

70404 King's Castle and 70400 Forest Ambush for $195 shipped. Unfortunately I have to pay to ship it to WA from the east coast. Oh well.

Wouldn't bundle.  I only bundle sets if they aren't good sellers to get rid of something that otherwise won't move.  Most buyers are savvy enough to simply buy from two sellers at a lower overall cost.  Just my .02...

I'm on west coast...I alwasy seem to be shipping to North Carolina or Far Awaysville, Maine or something.

I finally sold some of my Witch Head polybags!!!!  Too bad for Trick or Treaters...gonna give out the ones I don't sell by this Halloween!  I had 20 I bought for around $1.50 each...I gave some away, built a few (actually pretty cool) but this is my first actual sale of some!

I have just the opposite problem with my Amazon orders.  Always shipping to the west coast from Ohio.  I hate how it eats away at my profit.

I've had a much higher % of orders go to CA than any other state. I wonder if FBA would be better in this situation. B/c of the shipping allowance most of the time it's far to low to cover costs to ship across the us.

I also have the same issue - seems like I'm always shipping to Silicon Valley (Menlo Park, Mountain View) from western MA.  One thing I have started to do is reprice my stuff throughout the day.  Early in the morning east cost time, I drop prices by a few bucks and then raise the prices again around 6-7 pm . Definitely seeing an improvement in shipping and also increased sale volume which I wasn't expecting.  Thanks to exciter1 for this strategy.
