What Lego set did you sell today and for how much?

5 x Hero Factory: 44009 Dragon Bolt - $32 each on Amazon

Picked them up for $4.25 each at KMart 2 weeks ago during 75% off clearance toys.  I'm still a fan of Hero Factory clearance.

I'm a firm believer in the "any Lego set can be profitable when your buy-in is at 75% off or better"

March 30, 2018. This is a date that will forever be remembered. I can get a little emotional at times. As an adult, there are a few instances when I've shed a tear. I cried when my son was born. I cri

Today I tried something different and set up a Lego booth at a local indoor flea market that is held three times per year. I advertised on local Facebook buy/sell groups for about a month leading up t

nice work! I've sold 3 of my 4 city cargo trucks from that 75% off sale for $30 each locally, my buyin after surprise points was a little over $5 each

Sold:

70803 Movie Cloud Cuckoo's Palace and 70807 Movie Metalbeard's Duel for buy-in. Also sold a dozen Harry Potter figs.

The money I received I used to order an ecto-1.

Quick flipped a Harry Potter Quidditch Match I found on Criagslist for $20 - sold for $59 (including shipping). My first Craigslist find & flip! Picking up a complete Queen Anne's Revenge with box this weekend for $165. That one I'm going to have to build before letting go of it.

3409 Soccer Championship and 3401 together for $120. Bought them for $50. Not my best, but definitely not my worst. I've been making big mistakes lately in buying bulk legos without weighing them first. You live and learn. Or some other cliche like that.

4433 Dirt Bike Transporter for $38

9449 Ultra Sonic Raider $107 - local pick up on eBay, so no shipping cost on that.

4433 is a constant seller. I only have about 2 left from my stash. It's a good selling set.

I had trouble getting it at discount or on clearance, so I didn't get as many as I would like to have.  I get in much earlier on these City Vehicles nowadays.

I picked mine up in December 2013 for $10 each.  It's a great little set.

I just sold a new tower bridge via cl for $220. My buy in was $160. With the box redesign I have lost hope that this will retire soon. I want to trim my inventory down on it a bit. Don't feel like sitting on that many for another year (or longer).

These box redesigns and 'toos but check back in xxx months' have me rethinking my strategy a bit. Lego is changing the game on us, time to adjust.
