March 30, 2018. This is a date that will forever be remembered. I can get a little emotional at times. As an adult, there are a few instances when I've shed a tear. I cried when my son was born. I cri

Opened 70010 lion chi temple for $80. Got it as part of a CL lot. That pretty much pays for the rest in one transaction. Also my first real time shipping internationally! Also sold 2 standalone duplo knights with a horse for $10

What's the profit? $5-$7 ? After fees and shipping?

made about $12.  sold another one today for $2 more.  just a quick turnaround and good practice.  I'm pretty new to this.  I do have modulars on hold for retirement.

Nice Avatar by the way:)

Well. Looks like I better get off my butt and get some stuff up on eBay. I like the look of those numbers.

Yeah, sell them and backorder more from Shop at Home.  I don't think this theme is done yet and now may be the time to flip some.

I was wondering has anyone received any trex's that were backordered over the last month?  Supposedly they had a ship date of July 25th.  Just wondering if anyone had received those.

Nope. I ordered two when the date read July 25, and just received the "take a little longer" message yesterday. I wouldn't count on back-ordering to fill your stock. The ban hammer cometh... and you may never receive your sets, anyway.

Thanks that's good info. Just from what various retailers have said in regards to being able to get more stock, combined with "constant backorders" on lego.com, i'm sort of thinking they may always be backordered until they eventually get the "sold out" tag, or the retirement tag (which could be a while).  Tough to say.  It seems that the backorder date keeps getting pushed back and never seems to ever be fulfilled or caught up on their site.  So, combine that with other retailers not having them in stock for about 3 weeks now, I think that says… hold steady....
