Morning all from the UK.

After listing for 5 weeks on Ebay I sold my mint 10179 (not first edition) and delivered it personally.

I did have to drive an 8hr return trip to London but I think that my item description of me delivering personally, as I would not put on a delivery truck worked in me selling greatly.

The diesel only cost me £50 which was cheaper than insured delivery.

Im not here to gloat but only to let you guys know you can possibly get £4.5k for yours too ;-)

I always wanted to keep mine for ever but starting my new business ment me freeing up some money sadley.

Cheers guys,

Steve.

Congrats. Did you ask the buyer to give you good feedback, and did he? Since you delivered it in person you do not have proof of delivery, so technically they can open an item not received case, and win it. I would urge that you get them to leave you feedback. That is the only proof you will have. Don't mean to be a Debbie downer, but I wouldn't want you to lose out on that hefty profit. [emoji4]

Hello.

Yes positive feedback back was taken care of at the deal once the buyer had checked it and was happy.

I also had copies of signed receipt signed by us both.

I was thinking about filming the whole thing but didn't in the end.

Im pleased it went well and appreciate the concern ;-)

Crazy, someone just bought me out of 60055 - City: Monster Trucks for $29 each.  FBA

Wow, I severly under sold mine then.

I think I sold $14 for mine, but in $7

I might have one left...

Nothing sold... Just gave away a bunch of polybags to trick or treaters and gave a load out to other revellers during last night's late party. Nothing listed now as going away soon.

Decided to reduce my stock of santa workshops to free up some capital for Black Friday and SAH sale. Sold 2 for £75 each with a buy in of £41 and took advantage of recent eBay £1 Max fee offer so cleared £25 each after all fees.

I'm starting to get the FVF offers now so I'll list mine as I'm dying to get rid along with the poor performing WVM.

With a bit of luck if this goes to at least backorder on run up to Xmas there could be a small window to offload these at a slight premium and as you say with eBay FVF offer you could still clear a bit of profit for what is less than a year hold. Just don't think this will be a good long term performer and given that the theme you also have a limited optimum sales window

Got rid of a Disney Castle today for $490! Easy $100 in profit after shipping costs for me.

40139 - Gingerbread House - $77 - FBA

I still can't believe that someone would pay that much for that set.

dyamn i don't know how to do search on ebay sold listing. can someone help?

http://tinyurl.com/hr48pfr

i did find sold listing for 470 though.  http://tinyurl.com/gmfhsyo

even @490 clearing $100 profit is very very commendable for $349 set. stars must have aligned perfectly for that.

Stars aligning is a bit of a stretch, but no tax + 2x VIP points + the freebie set + shipping cost of $10 + 30% discount on my FVF

Sold 41008 Friends HeartLake City Swimming Pool for $65+shipping on Amazon FBM.

Had it up for higher but saw that it was going for $50 on EBay, but $78 FBA. As the curtain closes for me for holiday selling at Amazon at the end of this week, and I'll be out of the market until after Christmas or when they lift the FBA curfew, I figured I'd take my gains now and listed as the lowest FBM two days ago.

Buy-in was $25 a few months ago via CL. Solid 100% ROI. Who said there's no money in Friends.

Sold the Toy Soldier ornament that I got with my Yellow Submarine for $14.60.  After shipping and fees that around $9-$10 that I put back towards the Yellow Sub.
