As predicted, just sold an X-men vs Sentinel on Amazon for $80 only a few days after the X-men movie opened. I'll net almost a 100% return on these after fees, etc. after getting them on discount only a few months ago. Who says superhero lego sucks? :)

Nice... now if Amazon US would only sell out... :(

May ended up being my best month of the year so far.  Here are some recent sales:

10221 Super Star Destroyer $974 shipped (Bricklink)

10224 Town Hall $565 shipped (eBay)

10241 Maersk Triple-E Freighter $250 shipped / GSP (eBay)

75054 AT-AT $220 shipped (eBay)

30320 Gallimimus Trap $15 shipped (eBay)

FBM - Iron Man Silver Centurion $50

FBA

75920 - Raptor Escape - $115
76004 - Spider-Cycle Chase - $30
76007 - Malibu Mansion Attack - $60
70007 - Eglor's Twin Bike - $25
60061 - Airport Fire Truck - $85
75017 - Duel on Geonosis - $89
79003 - Unexpected Gathering - $133
60048 - Police Dog Unit - $54

9525 Pre Vizla's Fighter for $60 + shipping on eBay. This was one of my first investments: a $48 buy in, back when I thought "retiring soon" actually meant "retiring soon" [emoji14]

2 years later, a whopping 8% return... woo!

An 8% return is at least 8 times better than a savings account.

All on eBay: sold (3) 40221 Promo Fountains for $35.50, and one 42056 Technic Porsche for $396 plus shipping.  The Porsche buyer was a high-end car dealership (on their website they have Porsches, classic Corvettes, Ferrari, etc)... I wonder if they're going to give it away with the purchase of a car?

That seems low for the Porsche - after fees you probably cleared $50 ? Congrats on the Fountains though :)

Are you offering me more for the Porsche?  I'll get you one.

Thanks but no thanks. Congrats on the flip. I considered flipping them myself when I found two in the store today, but in my mind it would have been a $500-$600 listing, so I was a bit surprised to see $400.

I started the day with $25 in VIP points available.  I used them to buy the Porsche (w/ fountain), and also used a Lego calendar 100 Bonus points coupon.  Then used resulting points to buy an Ewok Village (w/ fountain) + another coupon, then used resulting points to buy a (dented) Fairground Mixer (w/ fountain) + another coupon. Got 500 points for box damage on the FM. Sold the items as described. My credit card bill will have $686 in charges. My net income from eBay will be $439.

End of the day, I got a mint EV, a (mildly) dented FM, and $35 in VIP points in my account for a cost of $247 (+ $5 in gas). I call it a win.

Thanks for pissin' on my deal, tho.

With all this background provided, you did well. I was not trying to piss on anyone's deal, just surprised at the flip for what seemed at first glance little money - less than usually reported here.

Sold my last Captain America Avenging Cycle, last Batman vs Superman batmobile polybag, and a Nick Fury Spider-man set to one buyer off Craigslist for $75 CDN in total, which was $10 below my listed price as this is a repeat buyer close to me. I only paid $35 for the Cap and Nick Fury sets and the poly was free. There's gold in them thar small superhero sets.

Sold these last month (May) all on eBay

Grand Emporium $285 + Shipping (I desperately needed to move something)

Then out of nowhere I sold 3 King's Castles 70404 for $199.99 + shipping.

Well still pretty deep on GE so i'll make it up on the next few.
