Haven't had a Craigslist sale in a while and suddenly 2 different people responded to my LOTR listing and I'm now out of that line completely. Each bought Gandalf Arrives, Shelob Attacks, and Attack on Weathertop for $160 CDN. I paid just over half that. 

Just sold a Dynamic Duo Funhouse on Amazon for $100 CDN. Netted $80 after fees and shipping on a $55 purchase. Think I'll raise the price on my last one.

I think the math is a little off. 129.99 x .50= 65. You would have had to have sold them for 195 with no fvf or shipping fees.

Sounds more like 15-20$ profit, which is more like 15% margin approximately - not trying to burst your bubble, sorry [emoji16]

Yea I dont know about 50% profit except RE but I would not even think of selling these unless have 30 plus of each set. This line will be most profitable one possibly ever.

I think he meant he bought them at retail and sold them for 50% more. Jeff_14 also sells a lot locally (Toronto is a big market) so how do we know that isn't true? Besides, London Drugs in Canada had all the JW sets for 15% off and after had a 15% + $10 off a while back so an IRex set could be had (and was had) for $132.76 out the door where I live. That's about $100 US which redghostx often buys in Canada and sells in the US so even with fees and shipping... $198 - $100 = $98 .. what's left after fees and shipping? Looks like a tad over 50% is possible.

What's the point? Again, let's keep speculation in the proper place please .. and this is not that place.

My minimum ROI for all sets is 25% cleared, including a user fee to cross the border, for all medium sets with one exception (a HE used set that I sold at a17% annualized ROI)  but since you asked...

I bought all my JW sets at retail. I did get Chapters points worth 15% but didn't factor this in when doing my post above. So I actually did better than advertised.

Sold a Ninjago Fire Temple for €150 plus shipping on a local site, so no ebay fees. Buy in was €80 about 3 months ago.

Sold a 8097 Slave 1 for €186 shipped on ebay, buy in was RRP about 2 months ago.
