August 29, 201510 yr Sold a 5888 Ocean Interceptor the other day for a little over €75 (after fees). Buy-in was about €21.I didn't think it would sell since 75915 Pteranodon Capture is available in stores for €25-ish and it's basically the same set in a different color.
August 31, 201510 yr Wall-E for $114.95 on amazon. Person lived 2 states away and shipping was under $6. Santa's Workshop $119.95 also on amazon. Edited August 31, 201510 yr by cladner
August 31, 201510 yr More Two-Face & Batwing combos on EBay for $150.Is it better to sell in lots or to try and sell sets individually?
August 31, 201510 yr Is it better to sell in lots or to try and sell sets individually? It just depends, I do both.
August 31, 201510 yr It just depends, I do both.Okay then in your case was it better to sell the 2 batman sets together or separately profit wise, just wondering whether you put a discount if you're selling them in a lot.
August 31, 201510 yr Popular Post This weekend: My last Family House for $98 shipped on eBay (loved that Target sale last winter), a Logging Truck for $57 shipped on Amazon, a few more Winter Soldiers ($17 shipped, eBay), and a "retro" pirate in a box. On a side note, I didn't post on this thread for most of my first year because I felt it was too much ego. Here's why I changed my mind: it's helpful for other BPers to know how much sets are currently getting. Thanks to everyone who contributes to the community.

It totally helps, you get informed of what's selling and for what price and it also gives indication for when sales are picking up in general

Thanks to everyone who contributes to the community. besides the daily deal thread, this is the most useful thread on brickpicker. sometimes i even hesitate to post on this thread because inevitably it means more competition, but all of our investment futures in plastic bricks are somewhat stuck together so sharing info is useful. lame pun totally intended.from your post i know its time to start selling some Winter Soldier's.also heads up - you can still find the Logging Trucks for $16.99 at stop and shop grocery stores in the northeast. snagged 8 in rhode island on drive back from cape cod last friday. I'd like to think the prices listed here should give a few a shot of "hey, I can raise my prices and still sell this stuff" instead of the race to the bottom. This is the only reason I look at this thread. It's a great barometer for timing. Thanks on the Family House info. It may be time to start unloading.Re: Family House... I only had five, sold all and doubled my initial investment, so I'm happy. I have a sense there will be more listings as the holidays approach as many bought large #s that "fell off a truck" last spring. Maybe I'm wrong, but doubling my investment or close to it) is my goal/strategy.
August 31, 201510 yr also heads up - you can still find the Logging Trucks for $16.99 at stop and shop grocery stores in the northeast. snagged 8 in rhode island on drive back from cape cod last friday.I'd like to run into a few more Logging Trucks. They're out there in smaller shops, lingering.
August 31, 201510 yr T-Rex Tracker for $102.49 (free shipping) on eBay. Picked it up at Kmart and paid $19 after points, surprise points, and coupon.Tip. Sears always seems to have $10 back on $30/$40/$50 purchase for clothes, shoes, etc. If you're spending a good amount on Back to School stuff, you can use a new coupon each time you go to the register, so break up your purchase to maximize the points you get back. My wife thought I was a bit crazy.

I may send the rest in for the holiday rush, rather than loting them out until they are gone on EBay.I have a lot of sets they're all mostly used though so I have to wait a bit longer to get a profit I have the two face chase and the joker helicopter too but just used. I wait until a set is worth double the amount of the retail in used condition.
August 31, 201510 yr This is the only reason I look at this thread. It's a great barometer for timing. Thanks on the Family House info. It may be time to start unloading. That's exactly why I'm listing a Family House tonight.
August 31, 201510 yr several first wave chima sets (not chi temple). I only lost about 30 after fees and shipping. they were bought around 50% off.
August 31, 201510 yr Mini Modulars set 10230 for $330 CAN (before fees and shipping). Knew I should of bought more of this set lol. Decent enough profit for me. Haven't been active lately with general Lego news/rumours but who knows how much higher this set might/can go, especially when set #2 is released eventually.

August 31, 201510 yr Is that FBA?Yes, and just sold an Olivia's House for $110 and I'm buried on page 3 of the seller list.
August 31, 201510 yr I very much appreciate the time people take on here to list their sales.Recently sold various 3 pack tribes of Mixels series 2 $33Willis Tower $48Forest Police Station $9230271 TMNT polybags in bulk for ~$5.25 a piece7065 Alien Ship $49 (slow sellers but at a buy in at $15)

I read this thread so I can get annoyed by how much people spend on Amazon for items I sell for much cheaper on eBay
August 31, 201510 yr A lot of people still think that when something qualifies for prime shipping that they are buying directly from Amazon
