Just sold Anakin's & Sebulba's Podracers (YES)...only 1 more set left in my inventory haha.

Are you leaving the game weakside?

Sold 3 lone rangers sets (don't remember numbers: comanche camp, saloon and stagecoach) and a Dino HQ 5887.

Made a little money on lone rangers (happy with that) and little mondey too on Dino HQ (not happy at all, far less people seem interested by this theme in europe).

I believe the market in Europe is more difficult than the US. I am happy at least you sold something.

No...I hope not :)  It's just one of those sets that seems to be setting a long time with no interest...or so it seems.  We all have sets we don't like or duds and I'll gladly replace the space with another set with greater appreciation potential or sets I personally like more.  Still made good net return...purchasing for under 50% off retail helps.

*oh, when I said 'one set left in my inventory'...I meant ONE left of this specific set.

10129 Rebel Snowspeeder....actually got some cash flow for this 2x vip now! :)

I sold another 8096 Emperor Palpatine's Shuttle today. It was my last. I am still wondering if I should have kept this last one for a while longer to see where it would have gone too value wise.

Ebay

VW camper poly for $25 (was free, so infinite profit)

Obi-wan starfighter for $90 (I paid half)

Craigslist

2 4x4 Crawler II Ltd Edition for $325 each (cost me $250 each)

Total profit $220

Captain Am Avenging Cycle $30 cash local deal.

2x The Empire Strikes Out dvd/combo with darth vader minifig.

There's a few nice minifigs in the set...I still have one left and can still buy more at retail even if retired a couple of yrs ago.  Yeah, if you made decent enough margin than be happy.  Can't really see the set sky rocketing later but who knows.

Nice flips on the Crawlers.  I'm still holding some and would like to see some fund back haha.  Just holding out for right buyers at the $350 range.  Hope collectors/fan don't forget about this set...trying to practice patience, no more $400-$500 cash deals on this that's for sure.

I can buy other 3 of the 8096's for 50 euro each. But the boxes are pretty beat up and I do not trust to sell them like that at ebay. Tonight I will go back to the shop and try to negotiate a nice extra discount cause nobody buys them. They are there for 2 months already. If it works out I will buy them and maybe part them out.

Good idea if you can get a bigger discount to help them clear it out.  In CAN anyways, they were selling for $40's range on clearance ($79.99 CAN regular).  I don't part out sets myself or buy 'beat up boxes' but if you look online those minifigs go for decent prices last time I looked.  More effort but selling the minifig themselves can pay for the set...you keep the Lego pieces for your kid(s) or sell those too.  Might be one of those sets that is worth more separated and flipped quicker than sold NISB if you can get it cheap enough.  The build/set look doesn't appeal to me at all but I guess the minifigs carries the set.  Fact that it's still around means too much production and/or demand not there (obviously).

if youre ok with $75 profit for each crawler then thats fine ... but all LTD Crawlers shouldnt leave there basements/storage/closets for quite some time to realize real satisfying gains ... practice better patience!

many still believe that this set will see $400 + once again ... including me!

As do I. However I have 8 of these and so I consider this a hedge in case I'm wrong. I made $150 off these 2 sets in the space of 5 months (plus the free christmas gift sets I got with each purchase) so I'll take a little profit now and hold the remainder.

More proof there sometimes isn't rhyme or reason to this.  I just posted less than a 1/2 hour ago about picking up some clearance Clone Troopers vs. Droidekas (75000) for $5 each at Wal-Mart in the "Buy" thread.

I listed some at $16.95 as a placeholder for a possible future price point.  One sold already!  :jig:

I do think this has the potential to be a great battle pack for resale.  2 clone troopers (one a sergeant), 2 droidekas, and a very nice mini-build with some quality pieces.

Wow! It sold that fast.

Great sale by the way.

I sold a Chima Speedor Tournament AGAIN! It is my best seller. And everyone speaks bad about chima. I do not see why.

I sold a minifig last night with free shipping. However, the buyer did not pay yet. Do I need to send the minifig first or does he/she have to pay first? Is my first time selling something with free shipping. Thanks.

Thanks.

Never never never never NEVER ship something without the buyer paying first.

Thanks Stephen, But do I need to print the shipping label or wait for that also? Can I cancel the purchase if he does not pay or does not pay in time? Ebay should remind him to pay or don't they do that?
