  • So your girlfriend tolerates Lego? She lets you indulge in your collection? She doesnt mind that you like "putting tiny bricks together as a grown man?" She doesn't draw frowny face

  • It´s actually a lot like you. It retires and unretires every 2 days!

  • Staying at $200.00 after it retires, No way that will happen, I am at 15 Simpson Houses and Kwi Marts. these 2 will do very good down the road.   Ed

From the wording in the press release, it looks like this set and the mini fig line is all there will be. Which is ok since i'm not interested anyways.

$200 MSRP!! That`s excellent. I`ve already said that I`m not a fan of anything Simpsons, but that price would be enough to get even me interested. That`s about $.08 a piece! Tons of tan, and I`ll likely end up buying at least one just for that then selling off the figures.

Gonna throw it out there, but I think this will have serious flip potential in the first couple of weeks as people can't or wont get it. I wouldn't be surprised if it sold out.

I hear ya on that one. Seems like a set that will do just that very thing upon release. Best get your "flippers" ready

I don't think the Simpsons house will be the VIP Exclusive. Since the house is set for released on 1 Feb. The VIP Exclusive is Feb 17th.

I figure it will be a Lego exclusive and retail for $200.

It's confirmed. This set will be available to purchase in February for Lego VIP members. The price is $199 USD.Here is a link to the Facebook post with more photos of the set.

Hmm, guess who nailed it?

Anywho, while the house is a great price, the upcoming Minifigures line is anything but. According to this Brick Fan article, each blind pack for The Simpsons Collectable Minfigures series will retail at $3.99. I hope to heck this isn't a sign as to future pricing of the regular Minifigures line. I can only imagine how much Toys R Us (or even Amazon) will charge when these come out.

That $3.99 price is just for the Simpsons CMFs probably because of all the new molds they have to create for the characters. The normal CMFs will most likely stay at $2.99.

I hate the show, I hate the characters, I hate the house but, I L-O-V-E the money I'm gonna make from this. ;-)

THIS.

Now that I've seen the published price in the UK, I've changed my vote.

I've contacted the user promising to pay $2,999.00 if I can have it right now.  It gets up my nose when sellers don't have items to hand.  How can eBay allow this?

Lol. Keep us posted on his response

He says right in the auction it will be delivered mid February. He is just going to buy it on February 1 like everyone else.

I thinking of undercut'****** him and listing one for an even $1,000. but seriously what a greedy smurf

He'll never sell it and has just wasted his listing fee.

the problem is most sellers get x amount of free listings and it only takes on uninformed sucker and they go fro ahole to ahole making bank

Why is everyone getting so worked up about the guy trying to sell the Simpsons house on eBay? He is free to charge whatever he would like. Sure he is insane and if someone buys it they are even more so but isn't this what we are all doing. Buying up Lego sets to sell them on eBay or Amazon at a higher price? Should we be mad at all the people that took the Dolphin Cruiser out of the hands of little girls this past Christmas by buying them all up and putting them on eBay for twice the price. Or all those that bought up the Architecture Studios so no one could find them at any B&****** during Christmas. The way I see it everyone is free to try to make money off of this Lego investing thing any way they can. Sure he is an idiot but who cares.

I hope so but even then I feel bad for everyone wanting to collect The Simpsons blind bags all the same. Can you think about the kid getting a bunch of Barts & Homers? :( Actually I wonder if there will be any variant of the characters already in the house also in the series. Also will there just be sixteen to collect as usual or even more? There is a whole slew of characters from the TV series I'm sure many would want.

I just hope the figures in the house are exclusive to that set and we get new characters or outfits for the main characters. Homer in a hazmat suit, El Barto, yes please.

I thought that this might have been against eBay policy.  Apparently it isn't, you merely have to guarantee delivery within 30 days of the auction ending and list the item accordingly:

I hope they are all sold out within seconds before this guy manages to get hold of one AND someone buys it so he can't deliver.

Again, why all the negativity towards this guy trying to make money off of selling Lego? Isn't that what we are all doing? Like I stated earlier... he is insane and if someone purchases at that price they are even more so but who cares. He is doing the same thing we are all doing to a point. Maybe I am missing something that seems to be getting everyone here worked up about it.
