how come set 9515 & 9516 is not for sale on lego.com? just wondering cause i saw it for sale on amazon

The only people who no when the Exclusives are retiring are only about 4 people if that, but on any set that I can get info on about retiring I will list it

Glad I found a JP on clearance at WM today. Saw a few Batcaves here and there at a few Targets, but very low on stock. I wonder if they will roll them out on clearance before summer...

But the new one will have purple pants.

Found this yesterday at WM, but it was $80. Didn't want to take a chance because it was the only one left.

Here in SoCal, we don't get crazy clearances like you all!

Anyhow, with this set retiring soon, it will be a winner!

rancor pit is going for $40 clearance at some walmarts

Thinking two things about the pit. 1. Winner 2. If LEGO made a mold they probably will be releasing another rancor set in the future

And its dead so unless they make another in the new movies, I think the remake chances are slim.

 

Eitherway, this set should double after retirement and you would probably sell well before a remake anyway.

if the new movies feature dathomir witches then there'll be a @#$ton of new rancor fans, and they'll want the ones with saddles

Jabba's Rancor was small and sick according to the book.

A bit off topic, but if any of you have the XBox Kinect Star Wars game, there's a level where you can be a Rancor and raise hell.  It's pretty fun.

If this is going to be around the rest of the year, why would it slowly be disappearing? Is it just that TRU isn't going to carry it?

Besides local clearance, what are some of the best prices we've seen for JP?

 

I picked up one for $82 off YoYo on 11/1/13 (using a 30% coupon) but don't recall seeing any other crazy deals.

 

Would you consider buying this at full retail now if you want to stock up?  I love the set.

We're off to Turkey see Hagia Sofia this week. Will let you know if it looks anything like Jabba's palace when we get back.

I don't see it anymore either. It definitely has disappeared from B&M again. I see no more batcaves at any target/WM/TRU etc.

I've already been there, no need for the delayed update. It does not look like Hagia Sofia at all. The colors themselves are completely different. Hagia Sofia is reddish whereas the JP is brownish.
