December 17, 201311 yr Got this message from an eBay customer today after shipping a Friends Sunshine Ranch. "Thank you. I had send that second message before seeing your last one. You are saving my life BTW. Count on kids to ask Santa for a set that doesn't come out until January 1st. "But Santa can get it! He can get anything!" Thanks again." Anyone else have some holiday cheer to spread? Resellers aren't so bad.
December 17, 201311 yr That's neat. The Christmas season is always challenging as a seller, and there are always a few... interesting... buyers to make it more so, but yes, there's also the flip side of nice people who are very happy we resellers exist.
December 17, 201311 yr I know what it's like to have all your Christmas shopping done and then your kids ask Santa for some item that is no longer stores. Parents value eBay at times like this if they didn't they wouldnt be paying the high premiums they do
December 17, 201311 yr Yeah... I got 2 Dolphin Cruisers yesterday at the LEGO store and sold them in under an hour. Before I sold them, someone asked me if I could ship the same day since she wanted to make sure her daughter got this set for Christmas....unfortunately my data plan was at the limit so I had Data turned off on the phone and someone else got them before that lady. Sad thing is I left precisely one on the shelves. I looked everywhere hoping to find one for her, and was even going to throw in a Friends polybag as a freebie, but they were nowhere to be found

Nice of the buyer to message you that response.
December 17, 201311 yr I got something similar 2 days ago for selling a DC to a dad, he thanked for making it available to his daughter since he couldnt find it anywhere
December 17, 201311 yr Or if we didn't buy up all the stock, online and off....they could have got then at retail.
December 17, 201311 yr Or if we didn't buy up all the stock, online and off....they could have got then at retail. I highly doubt it
December 18, 201311 yr Or if we didn't buy up all the stock, online and off....they could have got then at retail.
December 18, 201311 yr One of them: (Not as good as OP's) "My daughter will be delighted with this on Christmas. Please ship ASAP to make sure it arrives quickly. thank you so much!! HappyHolidays!!"
December 18, 201311 yr two that I got this week: "Thanks again!! Love that you had these figurines! My son will be so excited on Christmas!! Thanks!" (an Azog and a Gandalf from 79014) "Man you made my life much easier the next couple of days and you helped make my little boy have an awesome Christmas. ? Thank you so much. ?you are awesome!!!!!" (a bunch of dwarves from 79010 and 79002)
December 18, 201311 yr Haha, they dislike their local resellers, and love the ones that live far away that can ship them the item they want
December 18, 201311 yr "Thanks for the fast shipping as this is a christmas gift! A+++" This was for a movie on Blu-ray.
December 18, 201311 yr Or if we didn't buy up all the stock, online and off....they could have got then at retail.I agree...but....Parents need to pay attention and shop for hard to find items a month before Christmas, not a week.
December 18, 201311 yr Reseller mission statement: "We aim to provide a valuable solution to the time conscious individual that still desires to make a great impression during the Christmas season by allowing access to highly desirable toys at reasonable prices and speedy delivery schedules" Might need to divide that into a couple of sentences lol
December 18, 201311 yr I got some nice comments from people on CL. I had posted a DC on there, but sold it on eBay and forgot to pull down the listing. I recommended places to find one, and they were able to snag one somewhere else locally. Good times.
