Ditto.  Was dithering too much on this one and now its OOS in the UK.  Lesson learned on this one.  Still want one for the personal collection so going to see if i can pony up @ MRSP or below for a used one.  Still confident this one will be a long term winner.

So taking my time on this one has indeed ruined it for me.  Have the "chance" now to get a used complete one at 5% over MRSP.  

What do you guys reckon?  Is a used one only going to get more expensive?  This would be for a personal build?

New ones off amazon are only 25% above the MRSP at the moment.  Guess the news hasnt filtered yet

Today was my biggest haul to date...will let the credit card cool down for a few days before deciding to get more!

Thank you ! As my favorite set ever, I am really expecting great profits on this one. The last time I had this feeling was for the Haunted House. I just cannot see what could go wrong with this set.    

And I perfectly agree on the number of minifigs. Even if in the end, you understand it is not really a playset. There is a ton of details, but very little room for playing. It is more of a majestic piece of work made of LEGO bricks.

I'd be interested in what Emazers thinks about the set and just go with whatever his gut feeling is.  If I'd have put 20k in the last 2 years in whatever Emazer's said I know I'd be up 20k

Isn't the advice exactly the same for every exclusive?  Not sure why anyone would need to request the opinion since it's been posted dozens of times.

My opinion isn't as popular because at this point in the game I would suggest that people buy less of everything.  And not because I want it for myself.  I'm taking my own advice.

Emazers has 20 of these, all mint boxes as I been buying them for the last 2 years at the Lego store. I am not getting anymore, hopefully they will do great.     Ed

That's the beauty of my situation here on the dark continent - there are only about 5 different franchises here and they all sell online so I can easily (roughly) track how many are still available. There are no brickvestors I know of so despite the EOL speculation, the stock is just sitting. Let me know if anyone wants me to ship a few over :0 still at least 20 available! The only other brickvestor I know of doesn't have much inventory. I just bought a MISB imperial flagship from him for $600. Not the best investment, but I couldn't resist having it in my inventory... I'll probably sell it and put the money into PR's when the time is right.
