December 7, 201312 yr http://games.yahoo.com/blogs/plugged-in/man-buys-picture-xbox-one-750-200637663.html Ummm... He's 19 and has a 4 year-old son and he has his 5 minutes of fame. So if I put up a picture of SSD and say it is a picture of a SSD, people will bid on it like it is an actual SSD? I think the seller should keep 1/2 the money.
December 7, 201312 yr He's 19.....has a 4 year old.....thinks a 4 year old should have an Xbox One......can't believe he got conned.
December 7, 201312 yr I was wondering if stunts like this were going to happen yet again. As for the buyer in question, he had to be around 15 years old for his son to be born. Wow, that is wicked young. Course some decades ago, who would have batted an eye at such a thing? Times have changed with peoples lifespans significantly lengthed.
December 7, 201312 yr At least he is reportedly getting his money back. Shady business. It is a shady practice. Listing a picture of a console for such a high amount is no different than someone listing a bootleg as an official Lego product.
December 7, 201312 yr It is a shady practice. Listing a picture of a console for such a high amount is no different than someone listing a bootleg as an official Lego product. Wonder if someone as tried an air guitar and shipped the buyer an empty box? In any case, this is just a reminder for everyone to read the small stuff regardless of the pictures. Really sucks that people do this, but at least Paypal/Ebay have policies in place to try and provide protection.
December 7, 201312 yr People need to read item descriptions carefully. How is this different than someone who bought used LEGO set on eBay thinking it was new even though the auction clearly stated "used LEGO" ?
December 7, 201312 yr True, this is possibly one of the best cases for reading the description down to the last minute detail.
