I am having trouble figuring out what set this could be. It's quite old and doesn't have lego stamped on it. It has a sort of two flags symbol on the pieces. And I do not know how to post a picture of it. Red pieces, white pieces, and gray cones for the towers. Plus a Mickey and a couple Mickey flags

Did a quick search for you. I didn`t even realize that Lego had a Mickey Mouse theme at one time in history. Quite surprising to say the least. Anyway, didn`t find anything like what you described. Would it be possible to post pictures? That would make helping you out quite a bit easier if so

Not Lego brand.  I don't have a great view of the scale, but I think they may be Disney Build-It bricks.

Check out the eBay listing I found for Disney Build-It Cinderella Castle - it has a very similar shaped tower roof if you look closely.

EDIT - Nolan hit the nail on the head - Lock blocks.
