I wish I got more DCs! I only got 3 very shortly after they were released. I found them at very ghetto Walmart in the clearance aisle for the amazingly low price of $20 each! They each have written on

So your profit like 10 bucks...or 5.00???...cause shipping for this 4lbs set near $12-14 ...i think too many random sellers ruin the lego market...dumping great sets foR quick flip and make no money a

Lego just updated their website.  The Dolphin cruiser now has an expected ship date of December 15.

Still 24DEC in the UK.

Amazon US is out again. Just remember, if your profit is less than $40 (you know, over 50% return on a set that is only 6 months old and isn't anywhere near retirement) on it you've made a foolish investment! :twitch:

If it's an item that you can get a lot of, what is wrong with getting a $40 profit on each???

If you have room for it more power to you.

As for the Dolphin, saw it sold for $185 on ebay. If you can get it for $60 that is a great flip!

Friends sets are hugely popular in my home town. Almost every girl below 12 are playing it. In toy shops, will definitely see some parents or young girls looking through the friends sets. The kids tv program are also airing friends cartoons regularly.

Did someone say that 40 dollars profit on this is bad?

No, he was saying $39.99 profit was bad :)

Any profit is good profit imo as long as you feel it was worth your time. An earlier poster stated that those of us willing to take less than a $40 profit are ruining the reseller market. The emoticon was meant to show my post was tongue-in-cheek...

I don't see much to be made on these right now if buying at retail. There are plenty up for $99 with free shipping. After shipping and paypal it's not worth the trouble.

That's why I got mine at half price.  In hindsight, I'd have bought 300 (not 3) and probably got

walmart has cruisers online guaranteeing christmas shipping.

Didn't work for me - it says it's in stock until you try putting it in the cart, just like earlier in the week.  Then it says it's out of stock.

Crazy DC price will last till Xmas....after no one will buy it...I am not buying it for full price 69.99+....do not waist you time...price will be back to normal after Xmas shipping due date....I am selling my stock of 35+15...done.

oh... I did not gi that far... but I imagine price will plumet if they become available.

Now its time to stock up on another sets that will be hot...if you know which one!!!...

If we're speaking of Friends sets, I predict Heartlake High (41005). It's the other big set from the newest wave of Friends this year.

Not many of these available either.  Walmart, Target, TRU and Amazon are out, LEGO Shop at Home shipping 12/15.

BTW, Dolphin Cruiser now showing shipping in 30 DAYS on LEGO Shop at Home

I am trying to tell that you missed low prices now its too late...do not buy it for full price...i got mine for 46, 52 and 55 max...price will drop on Xmas to 80s...I am selling for 109-119 now..for some profit, but not 99.99...cause shipping ( this set 4lbs+) and fees take big chunk...

I am betting on 3061, lol

Well with shop indicating 30 days and walmart now saying sold out... price should start to climb... doubt anyonr will get fresh shipments...

I'm just impress there only been 650 complete listings and 200 on sales.  There's probably 800-850 including the dutch/multiple lots that went through Ebay not including other places like Brinklink or Craigslist.  I estimate about 15 sold per store 4,500 Walmart and 2,000 Targets alone 97,500 total were sold in the US without counting TRU.  That's a very small number being bought and resold.  That make you think why they would ban somebody as well.

In other words, NOT good enough for the parents looking for Christmas gifts

By the way, I am experimenting with my store.  Let's see how quickly I can sell this thing out at this price :D
