There are a few other discounted items that might be worth picking up at LEGO Shop at Home in Canada. Two Star Wars sets and the mini modulars stand out to me. Make it about US retail lol.

saw this set at a local toy shop selling at $200 today... should I get it? its retired now...

(sorry dont want to open a new topic as the deal is the same...)

I'm a noob, but I'd say it depends on why you want it. You can get one on ebay for $225-$260 or thereabouts. Sellers don't actually get that much, though, so it's not really worth flipping. But if you've been looking for one to hang onto or for your own collection, it's a good price.

Yes you are right. For flipping is not worth it. I am looking for a longer term like 2 yrs... this has a Benz licensing so maybe it can goes up a bit more... Just thinking...

I would grab it there - I think its still worth it. Its already growing nicely in the US. You may not double your money, but you have a nice 2 year investment thats a solid set and unlikely to be replaced with anything similar.
