Lego 1/87 cars (1960's)

Does anyone have any idea what these cars are worth?

Are they made from Lego bricks or are they made of some type of metal?

Thanks for the link with the picture. I remember reading about these cars in the Lego Book. Here is a link for the price guide on bricklink. They are going for about $100 on bricklink USED. It would be awesome if you had one MISB. The value of it would be around $200+.

My father in law has 3, with box :) did u see the pic?

I did some searching on eBay, and I could not find any of these for sale. I guess they are that rare.

I posted a photo on Lego 1/87 vw 1500 667 and 607'' target='_blank'>Lego 1/87 vw 1500 667 and 607>Lego 1/87 vw 1500 667 and 607

I'm sure you could get $150+ per. I'd go posting a little on other LEGO forums too, like EuroBricks, BrickLink, and Brickset, to see if there is any hard-core LEGO fan who really wants it. Maybe LEGOHistorian will be interested? He literally wrote a book about LEGO pieces: http://www.eurobricks.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=73780
