So my LEGOLAND has a rule that you have to have a child with you to enter the park. While I see the safety precaution behind this....what about the AFOL who wants to go but has no kids....seems a bit discriminatory. Thoughts??

That is rather interesting. I don't think I agree, but I will say that Legoland is not very fun without kids. My wife and I stopped by the Legoland in CA for our honeymoon and a majority of the rides do not allow two adults to sit together. I definitely plan on taking my kids there in the future, but to bar others from going just because they do not have kids with them seems a bit overly cautious. TLG knows that a lot of Lego fans are adults and not all have kids to take everywhere with them.

nope...you have to have a child with you to be admitted.....they do have a day once a month where you can get in without a child. Its called adult day or something unoriginal like that.

a friend of mine who is a die hard AFOL but has no kids asked if he could borrow my little one so he could go check it out, as he had never been to a LEGOLAND before. maybe its just the one where I live at, I didn't have to give up my kid for the day ( don't think I would have anyway) because my buddy found out they were gonna do an adult day later that week.

To be clear, this is the policy for the Discovery Centers only, not regular LEGOLAND parks.
