Project Picks - Ideas sets to be supported

Have you come across an interesting project on CUUSOO that you would like to become reality?

Well, that is what this thread is for. A place to put links and bring attention towards specific CUUSOO projects. I figure the more people know about a project, the more likely it will be 'supported' and have a chance of becoming reality.

In the end, an idea can get rejected, but isn't anything worth doing atleast worth a try?

Since, every now & then, I have given some of the projects on this list a more thorough review, I will edit this main post until each one receives it's own 'review' post. At which point, the list on this main post will then be clear. Nothing else will change, just trying to clean up a little that's all.

The Order of Palladio

The dragon alone is simply beautiful.

Japanese old style architecture

I wish the NINJAGO sets had designs like these....

LEGO Architecture - Leaning Tower of Pisa

I know some of us really like the "Architecture" series, and this one is very nice.

Hinckley Brewery

This will never happen, but I still think it's amusing at the least.

Flooded Temple Ruins

A nicely detailed MOC to say the least. Not sure much demand for it though.

Space Mining Monorail

Nice design. We really need a new space-themed monorail set, man!

Goblin Fortress Ruins

Someone REALLY likes their orcs!.....And so do I! Impressive as a MOC and a playset. (Then again, so is this member's other projects!)

League of Legends of Lego

I don't know about actual sets, but boy will we get a TON of great characters!

MegaMan Project

If you don't know who Mega Man is, what rock have you been stuck under?!

Microfig Mechas

They're small, but have great detail. Plus they're just plain cool looking.

Modular Abandoned Mansion

Similiar to the Haunted House in idea, but very different.

Douglas DC-3

Very impressive....and very shiny! (It's chrometastic!)

The Cruiser

A nice little build. Good lines, very fluid.

Sword Fish II "Cowboy Bebop" / ("MONO"system)

Yep. It's the spaceship from the anime series, "Cowboy Bebop"!

Star Wars - Star Tours Starspeeder 3000

Pretty good in design & looks.

Warhammer 40,000 maxi-figures

Here's another that'll never happen, but still cool as heck.

Federation Galactic Enforcer

A cool and smooth design of a spaceship.

Legolympus

While the other is more realistically themed, this one is based on ALL the Greek myths!

Are there any projects you would like to share?

Place a link here so that we ALL can support and help bring it one step closer to being an actual set!

I designed this project. Please support it. Thanks https://ideas.lego.com/projects/149437

  • Well what an excellent idea for a mod building! This would fit in so well along with the other modulars, in the street.   I do think though, even if this gets to the 10

Hurray! Johnny Five reaches 10,000 supporters, just in time for the closing of the next Review Round! :)

I suppose this will depend on how successful Wall-E has been.

Based on BTTF and GB I think a well supported A-Team Van would breeze through the process.

Since I first saw it, I've so been hoping they pick J5, so many childhood memories!

And while you're at it - the second spaceballs project can do with some support too (same builder), it has another 215 days to go so no rush:

Too bad it doesn't transform into a vacuuming cleaning lady ....

I think because of the licensing agreement with Lucasfilm, these "Spaceballs" sets could never get made.

LEGO gave an "all-clear" on the Eagle 5 license - as per the Project site. So I think this is good to go.

This one is already over 9,000 supporters.  This is a homerun. I hope it happens.

I'd like to ask your support in getting Voltron - Defender Of The Universe by len_d69 reach 10000 votes prior to the first 2016 LEGO Ideas review deadline on May 2. Currently, it has 9266 supporters.

Oh, wow.  Didn't realize the cut off was May 2.  :(   I would love for it to get into the next review period, but I don't think it will get there in time.

So Voltron and Eagle 5 are now tied - Eagle 5's last ditch Hail Mary has gotten it to 9182 supporters with 11 days to go (as of 11:34pm 4/30).

Voltron at least has a long time to try to make it, if it can't clean May 2. It's a lot harder for Eagle 5. Only a couple of days after May 2 and it's all over.

There's been a push on Reddit. I'm sure it's been on all the major LEGO sites. Not sure what other marketing can be done for either of them.

It's a bummer than May 2 is the next cutoff, just because I don't want to wait another whole review period to then see what qualified and then wait for the results. I want both of these to be reviewed ASAP.

Voltron has picked up another 300 supporters since last night. Just less than 500 left to go. Very curious to see whether it can make these 500 in the next 36 hours.

Eagle 5 is at 9.4k. Getting close too :)

I'm now obsessed with following the progress on these two sets, to see if they can make the May 2 deadline.  I think there's probably about 30 hours left at this point.  Not positive what time it closes (Midnight eastern?  Midnight Billund?)

As of Midnight Eastern last night (about 12 hours ago), here is where we were:

Voltron - Defender of the Universe
424 votes to go

Spaceballs - Eagle 5
556 votes to go

12 hours later, and here's where we are:

Voltron - 9693 votes (307 votes to go) - picked up 117 votes in 12 hours
Spaceballs - 9529 votes (471 votes to go) - picked up 85 votes in 12 hours

I honestly think this is going to go down to the wire.  Don't know if either of them have the steam to make it in before the cut off.  I sure hope they can get in at the last minute.

Where's your Eagle 5 vote? :)

So, I'm trying to figure out when the voting ends exactly.  According to a post on the Ideas Facebook, voting closes at Midnight, May 2, Central European Summer Time, which is in about 3 hours from the time of this post.

But, maybe it closes at Midnight, end of the day, on May 2.  Which is 27 hours from now.

I guess it depends on when you think Midnight for a day is.  Is it the last minute of a day, or the first minute of a day?

I suppose this will depend on how successful Wall-E has been.

It would but no way Lego supports a project from the A-team.

I love your obsession, uh I mean dedication. :)

I guess that depends if you believe the rumor that there's an A-Team component (level or fun pack) for Dimensions coming.

I'd be surprised... I know the 80s show was pretty tame since nobody could hug the broad side of a barn, but it's military and guns. It would be a first...
