Project Picks - Ideas sets to be supported

Have you come across an interesting project on CUUSOO that you would like to become reality?

Well, that is what this thread is for. A place to put links and bring attention towards specific CUUSOO projects. I figure the more people know about a project, the more likely it will be 'supported' and have a chance of becoming reality.

In the end, an idea can get rejected, but isn't anything worth doing atleast worth a try?

Since, every now & then, I have given some of the projects on this list a more thorough review, I will edit this main post until each one receives it's own 'review' post. At which point, the list on this main post will then be clear. Nothing else will change, just trying to clean up a little that's all.

The Order of Palladio

The dragon alone is simply beautiful.

Japanese old style architecture

I wish the NINJAGO sets had designs like these....

LEGO Architecture - Leaning Tower of Pisa

I know some of us really like the "Architecture" series, and this one is very nice.

Hinckley Brewery

This will never happen, but I still think it's amusing at the least.

Flooded Temple Ruins

A nicely detailed MOC to say the least. Not sure much demand for it though.

Space Mining Monorail

Nice design. We really need a new space-themed monorail set, man!

Goblin Fortress Ruins

Someone REALLY likes their orcs!.....And so do I! Impressive as a MOC and a playset. (Then again, so is this member's other projects!)

League of Legends of Lego

I don't know about actual sets, but boy will we get a TON of great characters!

MegaMan Project

If you don't know who Mega Man is, what rock have you been stuck under?!

Microfig Mechas

They're small, but have great detail. Plus they're just plain cool looking.

Modular Abandoned Mansion

Similiar to the Haunted House in idea, but very different.

Douglas DC-3

Very impressive....and very shiny! (It's chrometastic!)

The Cruiser

A nice little build. Good lines, very fluid.

Sword Fish II "Cowboy Bebop" / ("MONO"system)

Yep. It's the spaceship from the anime series, "Cowboy Bebop"!

Star Wars - Star Tours Starspeeder 3000

Pretty good in design & looks.

Warhammer 40,000 maxi-figures

Here's another that'll never happen, but still cool as heck.

Federation Galactic Enforcer

A cool and smooth design of a spaceship.

Legolympus

While the other is more realistically themed, this one is based on ALL the Greek myths!

Are there any projects you would like to share?

Place a link here so that we ALL can support and help bring it one step closer to being an actual set!

I designed this project. Please support it. Thanks https://ideas.lego.com/projects/149437

  • Well what an excellent idea for a mod building! This would fit in so well along with the other modulars, in the street.   I do think though, even if this gets to the 10

I loved it too! And I wanted to live in their treehouse.

There are more pictures over on the Lego Ideas site.

You've got both my votes!

Thanks Phil B. I really appreciate it.

i voted, why so few votes? makes me think this has more to do with social media/sharing than the actual ideas themselves. Solid entries!!

I think a lot of it has to do with social media and spending lots of time promoting the project. I comment more here than on any other social media outlet so that should give you and idea of my social media footprint. So I hope the set will attract people regardless. We will see.

The set is so close to trending on the Lego Ideas site. Come on Brickpickers, help a fellow out.

Go vote.

Even if only because this set would have great potential after EOL (IMO).

 Got my vote.....great design

Thanks so much!!! I am not only five votes away from trending. Just five more.

Here are a few more images of the set.

This is super awesome, but we're all dating ourselves by referencing back to the movies from the mid-70ies. Maybe you need to play it up a bit by referring to the Swiss Family Treehouse exhibit/attraction at Disney World in Florida? Might be a more recognizable hook for most people.

True, we are dating ourselves. I was hoping for a little nostalgia. Seemed to work for Ghostbusters (yea, that was more popular). The Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse at Disney is definitely a great hook. Where to set it though? That is a little harder.

Go find a few Facebook/Instagram/Twitter Disney fan groups, post your pics and a link to LEGO Ideas, and don't mention the movie, just mention the attraction in Disney World. You should have your votes in no time, seeing the reaction people had to the Disney Castle.....

I will definitely give that a try. I am sure it gets thousands and thousands of visitors a year.

Change the "and" to "times" and you're probably close.

Trending now. Thanks.

Zero response from the Facebook groups that are connected to Disney. Most have too many rules for me to post anything about it.

I didn't know we could post our own projects too! So here goes..

I've had a project on the site for a little over a year that's gotten a bit of attention in its early months.. but since then it's slowly dying.

Basically what it is is a playset designed for one of the iconic games that is on a semi-known online game where people can build games for others to play! I haven't seen many set-like actual PLAYSETS with functions and stuff submitted or make it onto LEGO Ideas so I thought I'd give it a shot. I'd appreciate any support! Even if you don't like the base subject I hope you like the designs of the model itself and the minifigures :)

Cool. I'll support a fellow Brickpicker!

You have a tone of supporters! Congrats!!!!

As a typical children/teenagers oriented playset it doesn't appeal to me personally, but I think it's a nice effort so I've supported it anyway. :)

So the fishing store is on its way, the designer RobenAnne has submitted (or will be) a further 4 ideas all along the same theme. Now they look really good and I would love to own the whole 'sea side village' What are people thoughts on Lego releasing more than one project from an single ideas designer? Could this end in a new sub-theme? I doubt they will which is a shame not only from an investors prospect but also as a collector. Any way if you haven't seen them already check them out below, here's the next three.

The models look really great, no question about that. But I can't imagine TLG accepting other models in the same 'series' from RobenAnne as additional official Ideas sets.

Anyway, I just looked back at the dates of previous Review Results reveals, and the 3rd 2015 Review Results video was published on (Thursday) June 9th, 2016. Which means the 3rd 2016 Review Results could be coming later this week, IF LEGO Ideas follows the same schedule... :P
