Quick Flip 2505 - Garmadon's Dark Fortress?

Featured Replies

Hey Guys,

Somehow one of my local stores in Australia has a few 2505 sets still around for $120 AUD. I'm a bit short on lego money atm and I don't know the Ninjago theme as well as some of the other lego themes. I know that I can sell them here for $200 on ebay, but as I need to make some quick flips. I was wondering if this set is a winner in the short term or whether it's a slow mover and might not be worth it?

Thanks :)

It will likely continue to increase in value, but it's pretty easy to move now.  I got one of these in a trade a few months back and sold it within a week for double my money.  I would buy any that I could find and kick myself for not buying more when they were on clearance for around $40.

I got stuck paying retail for this same as all the other 1st wave Ninjago sets and don't regret one bit of it. This Fortress already made out like a bandit soon after being sold out from my Walmart and Target! I can imagine a rather high ceiling for it what with Nya and Lord Garmadon. Plus it is a wicked cool fort. ;)
