Didn't want to post both questions in the same thread... soo... what are these two things?

 

The truck is mixed up and has the wrong print/sticker (from one of these two sets: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItemIn.asp?P=30633pb04&in=S) but it is definitely from here: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?S=4653-1 which is a 4 Juniors Town set (circa 2003).

 

The Mech body thing looks like it is pre 2004 grays (you can confirm this in the flesh I guess) so that would narrow down my guesses to either: http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=4048-1 or http://www.brickset.com/detail/?Set=4099-1. Both from 2003 as well so that fits with the time period of the lot.

 

EDIT: Did some more research and it turns out those two sets 4048 and 4099 contain the same parts to build the blue robots. It looks like the assembly is a messed up version of what is being built on page 23 of this PDF instruction file: http://cache.lego.com/bigdownloads/buildinginstructions/4208966.pdf
