Just got my 10% back Holiday Rewards via email from TRU for purchases made between 9/8-10/31. Geez, I didn't think I bought so much stuff within that time period! Also, the email had "10% back" in quotation marks. I'm just going to assume that's bad copyediting and not TRU's funny math.

Lol thats funny!

I saw the promotion and went to see where I was at with it like a week after it started... already got the 100$ earned. Felt bad about my spending. To be fair, I had gotten 3 crawlers from them so that was most of it. lol.

Can't wait to get mine. Trying to decide if I want more VCs or maybe a ghost train.

What perfect timing!:

For a limited time only, Toys R Us America online will be offering their exclusive LEGO Palpatine

Best deal is the xwing - if it is in stock that is.

Really? Is that X-Wing just that awesome or are we talking about the whole cost of the deal?

Anyhow, that does seem like a great deal, but for those of us that are wanting to pick up the SSD or DS for our own collection, which is the set to build first?

I haven't built it - MartinP said it was pretty cool. I think its more just the best price you will ever get on it. You could sell the palpatines and pull in about 60.

So if you saw the Xwing 60$ off at the Lego store, would you buy it? Really comes down to that.

As far as the DS/SSD - its tough. I would grab the SSD only because I think it will be gone sooner. Its the biggest and most immediately impressive IMO. The DS is the cooler set if you have people look at it for a while because there is so much going on.

But the SSD definitely just makes you drop your jaw when you see it. Massive.

I got my rewards too for $75.33, but my rewards page says $38.77 in rewards for the promotion.  Is the Rewards R Us page even useful?  I looked at my 5 of my in store purchase receipts from the past month, and only one one is listed.  The rewards number of the receipts is the right one.  Can anyone confirm they have gotten 8x points from a Wednesday purchase?  It seems all screwy.  I guess I will take their word for it.
