I was just curious what everyone's opinion was on set 6857 (The Dynamic Duo Funhouse Escape)? Personally I've never invested in any of the Batman sets in the past, but this set seems like such a value to me being that the MSRP is only $39.99, and it comes with 5 awesome minifigs, and the playablity factor for kids is great! I love this set and it really has me interested in building and investing in Batman now. Unfortunately it's sold out at my 2 closest Lego stores, and on LEGO Shop at Home till early next month. I feel this set will one day do pretty well after EOL, just my opinion though, what do you guys think?

Update on my cancelled order of two funhouses for store pickup: I finally made it over to TRU, and of course they had 8 funhouses on the shelf. So I grabbed 2 of them and told a manager what happened. I was nice. She looked, and found that they had arrived in a shipment this morning. So, they might have actually been sold out when I placed my order. I asked if she would honor the deal, and she said yes. Booyah! Got my funhouses, $30 each. TRU is only as bad as the manager on duty :)

It always helps when managers know about customer service. It is a shame so many others and their staff do not

Looks like i waited to long to buy this set......i cant find it anywhere in europe and now its sold out on all european lego online shops.....anyone have any ideas where to find it??

You can still buy it on Amazon but not at original price. Amazon Germany has two left for

Lego have it labelled as Sold out and i suspect it will change very soon to retired. I think you've probably missed the boat with this one but I'd check in your local Lego shop or Toys r us etc. They might still have a few knocking about, whatever you do don't pay over the odds on one unless it's for opening.

Is it worth of buying 6857 at 39.99 from LEGO Shop at Home? Wonder if its too early to buy it now. It has been tagged as Hard to Find item for long. I am still struggling whether to buy it or not. What is your opinion on this set? Thanks :)

It is a great little set. Definitely worth having around.
