For anyone who wants to build a 10179 UCS Millennium Falcon

This one is great.

There was also one that was made with the Star Wars characters actually making the building, with plenty of Star Wars jokes thrown in. That was truly epic!

I really need to stop torturing myself with this set.  I want this damn thing so bad...  But it's soooo expensive.

Although the video is freaking awesome.

After watching this I have no idea how they could possibly do the interior in the remake.  It seems like there is a lot of structural components inside of it necessary to just keep it together.  I guess that's what it takes for a hunk of junk.

I noticed the same thing.  The problem with a remake, is unless lego wants to add like 2000 pieces to make it really big to expand the interior details, I highly doubt we will ever see a 'remake'.

Now what I do believe to be more likely is another limited release of the set.  Not a full production run, but maybe like another 10-20K worth of sets?  I would buy one up in a heart beat even if it cost like $600 because of inflation and stuff.
