For example, I'm trimming down HP EliteBook boxes right now to perfectly accommodate: TMNT Baxter Robots, Vampyre Hearses and various City/Friends sets. A Lenovo ThinkCentre PC box recently fitted a UCS R2-D2 perfectly without even needing to trim the inserts and it arrived in mint condition.

If I were you, I'd call Qantas as large airlines often refesh laptops on a regular basis (AA, BA, JL and CX did). Don't worry about calling as you may be doing them a favour.

I'm an electrician and we receive a lot of electronic deliveries and air bags are used for packaging. I keep every single one and would easily have over 200 saved up in plastic containers at the work shop. My boss doesn't know why I'm keeping the but he thinks I'm nuts (lol)

If you ignore the oft rereleased fire engines and police cars.

There can be some good money to be made. I like to look at the unusual vehicles.

I believe it has been 6 years between bulldozer releases, with the 50% discount hopefully meaning this set is close to retirement and not likely to be rereleased for a while. Should do well and with a low buy in price.....

Myer has buy two get one 50% off.

If you are willing to sit on them for a while could be a good chance to get some Slaves or Banks

Pity old mate with his ten grand of LEGO is on holidays. This is perfect to burn up those last gift cards. 

3 slaves with the 50% off and 8% gift cards puts them at $210.30 each.

Ah that clarify things better. Well at 25% off each set and + 8% with the gift cards, it isn't too shabby compared to other sales.

My only thought is Target is a bit lackluste this time around for toy sale.

Considering Target are getting out of the toy business I'm surprised they are having any sales at all. 

I wonder who will get their exclusives now. 

Managed to score 4x Slave I's at the BOGO plus 8%, plus two more Parisian Restaurants. They did return to RRP so the modulars are only marginally better than before, but hey- I'm not complaining!

I read on their site it was buy 2 get 3rd half price? My mistake.

I grabbed 5 initially, I've put them on eBay to flip them at RRP. My local has a shelf dedicated to them, depending on how quickly I go through these ones, I may lay-by the rest. I've already sold 2 of the 5. 

Managed to grab about 5 or 6 of the Demo site as well. They'll probably be better for parting out. 

With eBay fees and Australia post cost ,as I assume postage is free, is it really worth it? I mean with  $5 fees and $5-$10 postage ,it doesn't leave much left out of $20.

Depends on what your strategy is. I use them to bolster eBay sales and FB. Your right, after fees and postage it is only around $5 profit but when I have access to a fair amount and I'm heading to the post office anyway it all adds up.

 

Didn't think of eBay sales. My volumes are way too small to even bother with that.

Well boy did the Telstra issue affect the stores today and worked out in my favour big time

got b1 get 50% off then an extra 10% off for getting stuffed around with the telstra issue and then an 8% on top of that paying with discounted gift cards.
