What kind of discount do you look for? I am really new to this! I would consider these smaller rather than med sized. I'd get them for as cheap as possible. Only god if you want to hoard them for a few years I'm afraid. 21 hours ago, braiko said: Hey guys, short time collector, first time investor here, looking for a quick bit of advice. Having only just got back into Lego and buying waayy too much for the collection already, was thinking of buying a few extras to offset the cost. The first item I thought might be worthwhile taking the plunge on: Benny's Spaceship, $104. Reasonable? I'd get onto that... and please message me the name of the store that has it as I'd want one myself
March 19, 20169 yr Heading to Japan on Wednesday. Will keep my eyes out for Lego haha. Have done a little bit of research and will certainly get some photos of the Kyoto Station model in Kyoto (who would have thought?) haha
March 19, 20169 yr Here are a couple of shots of an old Melbourne style tram that I came across at Myer Northland today. Sorry that they're blurry. The glass case was a bit filthy. No respect whatsoever haha!

Brickbounties are down to $79 at Target. I've heard rumours that next week will be BOG50% for all toys including clearance items - so if you can find two, lay-by until next week.
March 23, 20169 yr Sorry new here. What is BOG50% and Brickbounties? I do apologise again. Was going to tell you to read the forums more and work it out but I made a typo It's actually BOGO50% - Buy one, get one 50% off. Brickbounty is the LEGO Pirates' ship that has retired a year after initial release (normal lifecycle is 2+ years). Welcome
April 2, 20169 yr i've seen he arctic basecamp at kmart reduced to $79 Didn't see this as reduced in the catalogue. Is this a local clearance act?

April 2, 20169 yr Over at the Whirlpool forum someone has sighted a list of sets that Toyworld will be getting in during the second half of the year. Big Ben confirmed for October, new Technic/City/Creator coming in September and new Ideas sets in October/November. Creator Expert sets coming are: Winter Village Toy Shop, Opera House, PC, PR, DO and Mini Cooper. No T1, TB, PS and Mixer has me intrigued but I'm not sure if this info can be relied upon.

Nice, I'll have to stock up on Mixers.

In the postage section, you can mark that you won't post internationally
April 4, 20169 yr just got back from Japan! went to a clickbrick store at tokyo station and got a batman and joker LED keychain and a couple of lego mouse mats i wasn't game enough to buy sets per se as they would have been crushed on the way home. was very tempted to pick up a couple of extra mystery machines though haha! Japan itself was amazing and i'd highly recommend that you all go one day
April 23, 20169 yr TRU having their buy one get one 50% off, nothing too exciting. Anyone in Australia caught sight of a 42043 Technic Mercedes Arcos? I am afraid I missed out on this one in the store. (Although still available in Lego LEGO Shop at Home.) And anyone know when the 42055 Technic Bucket Wheel Excavator will appear in store? I am guessing 4th quarter this year?

Their regular price on it is $300, so with a 20% off sale and some gift card magic (a further 10% off) you should be able to get it for around $220, a massive saving on the $360 RRP.
April 23, 20169 yr I've been reading the non-Australian (most) forums, does Australia tend to have the reward points/ discounts that America does? I have never seen them or in the quantities it sound like there are in the US and other countries, but they sound great! In regards to LEGO Shop at Home or normal retailers?
April 23, 20169 yr Our companies don't have the buying power that the OS stores have. Our retailers are wholesalers at RRP - 30% but US/UK could be closer to 50% hence the stronger discount

Yes i did noticed that Big W have them a while ago but alas...i hold off on buying as it was too 'new' out back then. Now i cannot find them in quite a few of the Big W around....
April 29, 20169 yr Hey guys, has anyone worked out how to get the May 4th Space Slug promo? Saw TRU have a poter they are giving away with over $50 spend on SW Lego. Looking like a pretty dull May 4th in OZ to me
April 30, 20169 yr Yep. You can go on eBay and pay a fortune for it from our American friends. We also didn't get double vip, free shipping, any discounts or a stinky poster from SaH. Bah, dull is too kind a word. Edited April 30, 20169 yr by Furious_george
May 1, 20169 yr Agreed. And to make matters worse, they've recycled the sale banner from overseas stating "Star Wars deals" (plural) when there is barely only one deal here (the polybag).
May 1, 20169 yr Haha yeh didn't see that. GALACTIC OFFERS!!!!! .....pay a mere $400 for Hoth and its gate to nowhere and receive........ a minifig.
