Yes, that could be Minecraft 2.0 :D

Was at Myer Doncaster in Vic yesterday and picked up 3x Ecto-1 and a simpsons house.  Spoke to the Toy section manager, he said they only had 6 modulars and a handful of mini coopers allocated to them, all sold on the first day due to people putting them on hold.

He said Myer Melb got a much larger allocation of modulars but a lot of them are on hold (pretty much all sold) and it sounded like they were happy to hold more than 1 for people.  The Doncaster manager was happy to hold a modular but was limited to 1 and had to be picked up that day, sounded very fair given the popularity of these sets when on sale.

You'll probably find that some of the "hold" allocation maybe going towards Internet orders that were lodged by other means :)

Dr who cannot be compared to minecraft. If I was to head out to a comic-con and suggest that  to any hardcore dr fan, I would  find a sonic screw driver in my bits and my head placed into a green box with holes punched into it for eyes whilst it was on. P.S in my house it is called minecrap.

Hahaha we share the same sentiment, but our 7yo likes it :/

Made a hell of a profit off those sets though

You or lego. I thought the cave set was the best, small to send and contains a zombie.

Yes the cave was the one that netted me the most ROI, followed closely by the Craftbox which I was netting for $160 in the week leading up to Christmas.

Definitely a scam. Just looked at it. It's been copied and pasted from another ad cause they have a bit at the end about customer satisfaction and etc..

$106 town halls on ebay. Probably a scammer but PayPal will cover you so it's worth a gamble.

Did you nab one? I'm thinking about taking a gamble just to build one myself

Not worth the effort surely.

No recent feedback for the seller and no-one in their right mind would sell 7 Town Halls for this amount.

Just ties up your money for a month

It is one person doing it for multiple crazy bargains (maersk, town hall, ewok village) with hijacked accounts.

Yep got one for myself. There's about a 2% chance it'll show up but if paying by PayPal there's nothing to lose.

Yeah it's a scam, just took a punt and noticed the PayPal address. It's an email address linked to 163.com.

Lucky I had some spare change to gamble. Now to wait and see what doesn't rock up and PayPal chargeback.

True Jeff, but could you live with yourself if you don't buy one and it ends up being legit? ;-)

Hats off to you if a $100 Town Hall arrives on your doorstep, but I just don't see how it isn't a scam. Have no regrets either way

Guys finding $100 Imperial Shuttles at Big W is another story though. Ridiculous

Yep its a scam, thanks Ebay.  :pleasantry:

Now off to Paypal to file the claim!

Looks like Paypal nabbed it as well, as the payment has been unclaimed.

The cheap town halls are back again, Ebay is overrun with hacked accounts at the moment.

In related news the cheapest shipped town hall is now up to $660, so prices have doubled over the last 4 months. I wonder how much higher this set will climb?

I am concerned with the amount of scams on ebay, I would like to whoop these people into another realm. Do they not understand every entry from their  IP address is now recorded and kept for two years. Jo hockey may want to catch up with them for trying to avoid taxes.  Now to hear that people purchased a imperial shuttle for $100 I nearly vomited all over my zenbook and yes townhalls have almost blasted off into space at a cost now of over $600, glad I bought one a few years back for around $200 at David Jones. Now for lego back to the future fans, the Doc is headed to Mebourne this weekend for supernova, he is doing autographs for around $70 imagine one of his signatures on a mint box.

Buy 2 get 3rd free sale is in full swing at Myer until Sunday.

Loving all these awesome sales, I'm able to get 40.55% off (33.3%+7.5%) when buying 3 of the same items with gift cards :yahoo:

Wonder if David Jones will pircematch the Myer Buy 2 get 3rd free
