VW just arrived, but all gone. They said more stock will come in 1-2 week time.

They're clearing out the shelf of many city sets right now. The shelf was almost empty. Might see something new soon

Batman Arkham Asylum & R2D2 were there. Probably about 6 each.

I ordered about 6 am NSW time (small kids nil chance of sleep) trhat included 1 x set  Frozone. I looked again after sparrows outside farted and did notice it gone.

There you go. Your 6am is my 3am.

Present promo finally gone. Not sure if sold out or pulled.

Wow - great news - now to wait and see, how many winners and losers I've got.

we can now buy from Amazon US again. 

Also under the 'sale' tab on the Aus shop@home the list has grown of items discounted.

Well, technically on eBay it's not a blanket. With Australian sellers, they pay the GST and it's included in the price, while if you buy from eBay abroad, eBay charges you, the buyer for the 10% GST on top of your purchase, not the foreign seller. 

It seems that Amazon realised that they were losing out to eBay so they followed suit. Their pathetic FU to the Aus gov't backfired. Not to say I Iike our gov't either but that's how it is.

While I agree with you ed I’d have to say in Australia the buyer still pays gst. Its just nicely bundled in with the price. But I know what you mean.

"Included in the price" seems to be the key sentence....but anyway nothing much we can do....I wish it is the old formula of just charging tax or GST or whatever you call it on overseas purchases over $1000. However I am no professional economist so it might not work in this day and age...

Snagged the last of them, though I shouldn’t count on them just yet. Other set in orders went straight to wharehouse but old BH set is still stuck in processing.

shop@home has stack-able free bonus items at the moment. Christmas Carousel and Kessel Mine Worker.

Meh. That place offers free shipping to everyone except WA and NT . I’m in WA so they can keep their promo. LEGO Shop at Home have the carousel now and you can find the minifig on gumtree for $10 if you really want it.
