Architecture, VW van, Grand Emporium, Pet Shop, Fire Brigade, Sydney Opera House just arrived <<< I'm waiting for their next sales to get one of these set :D

Toy-R-Us

VW just arrived, but all gone. They said more stock will come in 1-2 week time.

Big W

They're clearing out the shelf of many city sets right now. The shelf was almost empty. Might see something new soon

Target

Batman Arkham Asylum & R2D2 were there. Probably about 6 each.

Bloody ebay, eh? But it's the govt that rorts us out of the extra 1%.

Does this apply to paypal in any way?

Not at the moment and haven't heard any rumblings yet.

Another Big W 20% off promo starts tomorrow (Thursday), just in time as the Ninjago Movie sets have started to appear instore.

My local still has 10+ of Star Wars Encounter on Jakku 75148 @ $55. Waiting for this dog to be discounted below $35.

Nice. Big dub online have the new technic sets and Destinys Bounty. Hopefully they stay there and are discounted too.

Got a new eBay listing offer - 75% off FVF. Wonder if this will be replacing the no FVF into the future?

Man , I NEVER get those things. I had to buy one last week for a dollar. Still haven't got it yet mind you.

I've just got hold of my parents account, they got offered UNLIMITED FVFs for anything listed before the end of the month. Seriously, why can't I have that!? [emoji21]

A mere $1300 for the new MF for Australians. Cheers LEGO.

I've got no interest in the new MF at that price.

Shopforme has some decent savings on the new sets today if anyone is interested. I can't believe the RRPs on them all, though- $60 for that little escape shuttle! And $230 for the Walker and Destroyer, too.

Still laughing at the number of "encounter at Jakku" still sitting on shelves at my local Big W. Have been reduced to $55 for months and they continue to sit there gathering dust.

Maybe with the new sets arriving a decent discount may just be around the corner??

Seems those prices are not being honoured.

How so?

Reports of shopforme cancelling orders on discounts sighting "embargo".

That's pretty ordinary - their site allowed me to order without issue.

Didn't finalise order, as I don't trust Auspost not to smash it.

Received an offer from Sendle to post my next eBay sale for free.

Has anyone used these guys before?

Yeah, I've used Sendle 30 odd times over the last year or so and found them generally pretty good.   A couple of recipients in the Canberra area haven't been impressed with their local agent though.

So, finally some movement on Rogue One Star Wars sets at Big Dub.

Any predictions on when the Batman Movie sets will see some serious discounting? Pre or Post Xmas?

Were the Rogue One buildables recently retired? Everything on clearance in Big W was already well and truly gone at my local (except for those Vader/Stromtrooper alarm clocks). Hard to say- I think some outlets could have decent discounts in October.

The RO buildables have recently retired, was able to pick up a few Chirrut Imwe and Baze Malbus @ $10 each. Left the Shoretroopers on the shelf. With no dale prices being displayed at my local has only helped my cause.

I grabbed a few online at the same price (plus $10 shipping across the 6 pieces). Holding my breath they arrive okay! What are general thoughts about selling these as a lot (ie one of each RO buildable)?

I have been selling SW buildables as single lots - and if boxed up right - can use an eBay $7.40 label. Once and only once walked into a post office to post a single and was slugged $17 to post from Brisbane to Perth.

Selling as a set of 6, i think there maybe less potential buyers on feeBay, but do ok on Facebook BSS pages?

Sure thing. Thanks for the advice! Might try my luck on both- just had 10 free listings & FVFs come through on my account!

This is an argument against both listing as a set (although this isn't strictly speaking a set) and using eBay auction rather fixed price. Current bid price $40 + $18 postage.

Finished at $134.50 + $18 which wasn't bad, but I reckon that $20 - $40 left on the table

Anyone lining up to get the MF tonight at the LEGO store? I was going to , then I remembered it was 4200km away. :)
