Hey Guys,

I'm a huge lego fan and have been collecting figures of different sorts for about 3 years and ready to take the next step. How did you guys kick off into the big league. I live on the Gold Coast in Queensland

I see we are getting a new version of the 2013 City Coast Guard theme late in the year.

Time to offload the last Helicopter / Trimaran set.

You box your stuff up, send to fishpond, who will sell your items on ebay, and after they take their commission, ebay takes theres (and paypal as well?) you will get paid.

Managed to score myself a sealed (damaged box) 10221 SSD for $950! Arrived today, and all is well. One of my big regrets was getting 10188 over this at retail... happy to say my problem is now solved!

Congrats mate!

pretty sure this is not new...but did anyone notice that this series of Minifigures (Lego Batman movie) comes from the factory in China? Lots of chinese words on the package.

I guess it is unavoidable that the China factory began serving the asia and oceania region since they are closest to us....Almost all the new lego stocks have the 'g' on the labels, and boxes have chinese words as well...

i bought a full set of minifigures from a seller yesterday and as i was having a look thru, i can say the quality should be the same...look like quality control is still ok. i say "should" because i noticed that on the batman helmet, the injection mould break off point dot is slight off the main colour...not that it is obvious but just that i look real close. All printing are fine and detailed.

CMF have been made in China for a while now. Batman is no exception

I'd have to disagree Ted, quality is rubbish. Legs are so flimsy and headgear doesn't stay on on quite a few figs. Printing can be crap (I'm looking at you hotdog man). Wrong legs (or an extra set of legs) have been reported in packs of the Batmans.

oh? they have been made in china for a while? thanks for the info...i went through them again and i can see what you mean on the loose legs and loose headgear...lucky no wrong legs....

Myer currently has 20% off on the sets on their website, but they also have the $15 off every $75 offer still in effect, so if you can get to multiples of $75, that's a 36% saving off RRP. They also have some of the new Lego Batman Movie sets listed on the website, I didn't think those were being released for retail yet in Australia, but I've got an order in for them, here's hoping Myer will honour my order.

Myer sale. 20% off plus an extra $15 for every $75 spent (possible glitch)

LEGO Batman Movie sets are up, some sold out already

Is this in-store or online?
