I tried the euro discount codes for a larf.. Au10 and 20 got denied but Shop was accepted and gave me a huge discount of bugger all.  Ahhhh good to be down under.

Eh guys....i just saw something crazy on the Lego LEGO Shop at Home Australia website....free shipping not on $200 but on $400!!!! that is getting stupid.

When you go to your card to check out, it still correctly shows $200 for free shipping though.  I'd say it's probably an error.

But their term and conditions still state it is $200

Hopefully it remain the same and not gone bonkers.

I liked the $100 error much better.

I really hope they drop it to $100.

USA was $75 but a little while ago it changed to $35 spend for free shipping.

To increase sales,  I know I refrain from buying things sometimes as the $200 limit is just a bit too much.

If I feel like I'm having to add something just to get over the $200 threshold I don't bother.

Yes i get the same thing.  Don't think they will but yep I'd love it if they did.

I agree, a new $100 limit for free shipping is probably just wishful thinking but i still think it would increase sales dramatically. I'd be willing to bet so many people dont order because of it considering the $35 minimum shipping charge if under $200. If they can ship to the US free for orders $35+ I don't see why a $100 limit would be such a problem for Australia.

The other problem is there are so few items they have at LEGO Shop at Home that can't be purchased at 20% off or better if one patiently waits for them to arrive in Australia and go on sale. so it really makes you second guess ordering through them.

But on the other hand when its double vip the $200 limit doesn't matter though, thats when it's really time to cut loose on the big exclusives.

Pity the old 2 x VIP are so few and far between .  Know what you mean about waiting. I bought the BWE from LEGO for $400. By the time it arrived from its trip around the Galaxy, it was on sale at shop for me for $80 cheaper.

Can anyone tell me if we can buy from uk Amazon?  I can't find a filter or setting that says shipping to Australia, and every set I pick randomly says no shipping to Australia.

No unfortunately not, this stopped around 4 months ago. Amazon.de, .fr and .es also no longer post to Australia. It's a real shame as it was an excellent source of cheap sets and VAT was excluded.
