Should we take a stab of what the next freebie will be from LEGO Shop at Home? I'm still optimistic that the London Bus will be coming

I have had about 8 of them arrive. I've given them away either to the Post Office lady's christmas toy drive or in eBay parcels that i send out.

Lego have had some pretty bad promos this year.

When the new set of the month comes out you kinda expect a nice promo related to it like they used to.

Had the Disney Castle come out with an exclusive disney figure and the VW Beetle with a VW beetle mini build or london bus I would have bought both in a heartbeat.

Any tips for stacking lego boxes?
I'm trying to minimise space used and stack vertically, but the bottom boxes eventually end up squishing and i have to move everything around again! Obviously the heavy sets are at the bottom and i try to stack only the same size dimension boxes ontop of each other. But since i am leaving on a long holiday and planning to leave these boxes at my parents place, over time i think it will happen again...so if anyone has any tips that would be fantastic.

Also...still have around $600 Myer gift cards and $400 woolworths gift cards...i need to find something to flip quick. I dont mind even getting it just back in dollar value at this point, since im leaving in 2 months.

I find if you can lay them flat that helps.

I read somewhere here that Myer may have something next month or just  sell the cards themselves?

you got the stack the boxes vertically without gaps otherwise the contents inside the boxes might cause the box to bulge at the side. There is a forum topic about storing sets. you should go have a read. vertically and if you stack them on top of each other will be 90 degree to the bottom stack...hope you understand what i mean.

Invest in shelving, do not stack boxes!!!!!!

I'll throw up a pic of my set up when I get a chance.

And yes...invest in shelving. Any shelving with cardboards is better than stacking....unless your sets are in it original shipping brown boxes but even so...can't stack too high without risk.

Can anyone tell me how backorders are charged to your credit card? I mean , does it take the money straight out or does take it when shipped or non of them? 

Oh yeh and I'd like to slag off "the hut" a bit more. Cancelled order, no apology, no compensation (asked) and after almosrt a week since cancelation , no refund. If customer service even respond to your queries ,they are rude ,abrupt and don't really answer anything.

 

Stay away from the hut.

Are you talking about LEGO or the Hut? LEGO will preauthorise your card as soon as you hit the order button. IF the order is out of stock, the funds should bounce back onto your card about 10 days after the order. You'll know when they are about to go back to the warehouse as the funds will be taken again before the status changes on the order list.

I can't say that I'll be using them again, I'm looking at moving in the next month. So i'll just create a phony account and reset my limits

LEGO do, they'll preauthorise (reserve the funds). Its shows in the discrepancy between Available Funds and Current Funds etc.

Just saw that the Sept LEGO Shop at Home free gift offer is the Kai dragon. A bit underwhelming again, better than last month's offer. Where is that London Bus? Disappeared or just not going to be offered in Australia?
