I'd just like to say the huts packaging is WOEFUL.

btw guys BB & S1 are back in stock at Myer for those who had cancelled orders about a month ago.

Doesn't show up on the website but there is stock around the country.

That's disappointing considering I have around $300 of LEGO in transit. Have either of you complained?

Not going to bother. Tried a few times to contact. All I got was a couple of generic responses.

Just got a generic response, so don't feel it will be worth the time and effort. The dvd's with minifigures have already been flipped without drama. The one IST I ordered was for building, which I finished last night.

 

Anyone know if I can buy big w gift cards with a Myer gift card?

No. Stuck me on hold for ages so I gave up.

Also finally received an answer from the hut as to why my IST I bought 3 weeks ago hasn't even shipped.

Seems they ran out and may get some next month. Good of them to tell me.

A1 quality service right there. I will bring actual hell fire down on them if my boxes arrive in a less than pristine condition 

Anyone else enjoying the hand wringing and knashing of teeth over the Death Star ? No-one has even seen it yet the consensus says it's the end of LEGO as we know it. Cracks me up.

 Had one of these years ago I bought in a big lot of other sets. My son built it up,we decided it looked too much like a dolls house and flipped it for a tidy profit.

Never could see why people thought so highly of this set myself.

I agree. It just looks all wrong. Out of scale and with oldschool minifigs. As far as UCS goes, it's a bit of a dud. At least the Ewok Village and Hoth are roughly to minifig scale 

Ill still spew if the new DS is a copy. Been waiting for the next UCS for ages.

Luckily our BWE should roll up tomorrow.

 

 

Looks like my first Hut order will be arriving tomorrow. Can't wait to see what the condition is.

My first one arrived half unboxed and a bit squashed. Number two just this minute was cancelled after a month of waiting. No compensation, just too bad.

On another note , where is everyone finding the DS pic? I can't find it.

My order arrived yesterday afternoon, the box was full of air pillows however some of the smaller sets did suffer a small ping (1 Red Creatures). Dr Strange has had a slight bend in the back but nothing to worry about. I'll be curious as to see how they go with the next one

I think it may be a fake, i'm still in the watch this space mode.

Yeh I'm never buying from them again. Super slow postage, crap customer service and poor packaging make the small savings completely not worth it.

New DS is true. Seen some new comparison pics. 

Makes AoH look like the inspired work of a genius.

I won't be using them again either, can't really say that they have left a lasting impression.
