I see these sitting on shelves at the shops and not moving. The only two IST I ever saw was ages ago and they were snagged instantly.

By me. :)

Whaa? Could you tell where? I haven't seen these at retail outlets since last year (or was it early this year)! And are they at retail or less?

Keep seeing 4 Lego Chima battle packs at local big w price down to $8 each, any other theme........

Just cant bring myself to pull the trigger.

Run far, far away. Chima will lead to heartache.

Yeah Chima generally lead to heartache over here. But the exception is if you are building for yourself and not reselling....then it is a worthy pack for minifigure boost in your displayed sets. works out to be $2 a minifigure plus some bricks. $10 didn't tempt me....probably $8 will....if i see them in my local big w....if not nah....not going to bother.

Same can be said for the Pirate Chess set, they have a multitude of minifigures that can instantly boost either side's army. It's a pity that the pirate theme didn't last longer as the chess set could have easily been a winner due to the sheer number of figs it contains.

haha, I bought one chima set at a Big W clearance (50% off), Razcals Glider 70000, how could I possibly go wrong?

Finally sell it two years later, and clear a profit after all expenses - the princely sum of $0.11.

Seen there is a rumour of double VIP's this weekend.

I assume we won't get it?

All rumours have a source and this one originated from a US site. So probably not.

Bugger. No bus, no double points. Cmon LEGO.

Hello Alcuard 1982, how are the studies :P. Yes, I am still alive. What have I missed out on. I have just done a stock take of my gear, found a few of the exclusives still have not moved in price over the last year. Anyway, the rest has made up for it. So what is the current go. I have just taken a look at the shelves in my local stores and really don't see anything spec. apart from Dr Who and a couple of arch. stuff.

No nothing local passes the sniff test really.

I got three Reys speeder  from Myer at 50% off. Market seems flooded with them. Hopefully a long term win. Fingers crossed

I grabbed only two for this very reason (market saturation), however they shouldn't be a problem to flip at Christmas.

I managed to grab two of the Ninjango Mech sets as well, I'll see how they go, I can always bombard my son with Ninjango if needed ;)

Ah your still alive! I had feared the worst :)

Not really any stand worthy sets this year unfortunately (others would disagree), but nothing that I have had to buy at full RRP.

Last semester of Uni (thank god), back to full time work next year, no 10 hour weeks for me anymore :(

My Ninjago collecting friend assured me today they are pronounced nin-jay-go.

did not know that. Learn something everyday. :)

If pretty sure that's not correct, unless they've been singing it wrong in the theme song the last 5 years! :-)

Haha, silver tongue devil and now rebel. Seems like my skill list is growing. In all seriousness, I thought Ted was talking about the Facebook group. I'll leave it up here for an hour and i'll take it down. I don't want the site to get in trouble.
